Is a done deal. Tom was back in San Mateo visiting his parents last week and Kyle stayed back and didn't go to the combine. The writing is on the wall. The rest is just formality. Tom will smooth out his exit from the Bucs without costing the 9ers an arm and a leg to trade for him.
Man, if Tom is behind center next season, I can't wait!!

I'd love to see it but not sure Shanahan has what it takes to pull something like this off. I sure hope I'm wrong and he brings in Tom though!

He would still have Metcalf and Lockett to throw to and they have like 50 mill in cap space now.

They said they are shopping Lockett as well. I just don't get the logic behind that. The Bucs overall are still a better team, no idea why he would rather player on a depleted roster.
Obviously Brady is still a very good QB, but it's not like Wilson is some bum. They barely won games with him, no way Brady makes them contenders or close to it.
I rarely use the word zero chance in sports, but there is zero chance this happens.

So if Tom decides he wants to unretire and play for us, why would Tampa allow Tom to dictate trade terms by lowering the cost? Bucs aren't running a charity, they should be looking to get as much as they possibly can.
If the 9ers were in the Bucs position, would anyone want us to help another team by not charging an arm and a leg or would our fans want us to get as much as we possibly can for Brady?

That's for sure. He definitely would want to be with a contender for yet another ring, not on a team that didn't even make the playoffs. Why tarnish an unreal career.

He's only coming out of retirement for the Niners. It's the only thing left on his bucket list. What other reason does he have to come out of retirement? He has the most SB rings. He proved he can win a SB outside of NE. He has multiple MVP's. He has all the QB records. He is filthy rich, and so is his wife, He doesn't need the money. Playing for his hometown team is the only thing left. But I don't see that happening, So he will stay retired.
