We were least going to let Huf test the open market and see what kinda offers he could generate. So his agent is throwing out some absurd number seeing if anyone will bite. It's delusional since Justin Simmons only got 7.5 million last year. I expect Huf back on a similar deal Simmons got tbh.

Justin Simmons was 31 last year, and Hufanga is entering his age 25 season. Big difference.

If you say so

Yes, I do say so.

You dont think theres a huge difference between a 31 year old and a 25 year old in football?

Sure there is but there's a difference in each players health and production. Not that Huf isn't good but Simmons has been a consistent pro bowl level player. Therefore I think around 8 million 1 year deal is what Huf will get.

Huff is garbage. Way over rated. Cant tackle , takes terrible angles and coverage is worse. I hope he ends up on a NFC West team so we can exploit him.

Alright. I don't discuss fitness with obese people and I won't be discussing football with you.

I understand. You like the echo chamber effect.

Saying something outside the norm does disrupt an echo chamber. Still doesn't make what was said intelligent. We just had an expert saying Mahones was the most overrated QB of all time in the NFL forums. Instead of having nuanced conversation you go absolutes like saying Huf is garbage. He's not. Can he improve aspects of his game? Yes. But instead your post reads as a someone who doesn't know s**t about football and judging by your laughably bad Nick Bosa arguments I tend to think it's true. Thanks hope the rest of your year gets better

I know tacking is kinda important.

If your ok with 30% miss tackle rate Huff is your man.

Bad....its obvious Bosa is under performing and that extends to the past 3 years post contract.

Take the rosies off.

TD might be exaggerating a bit on the terrible part but the rest is true.

I could easily see hufanga playing his way out of the NFL in a single season. Beyond the pro bowl year when he was getting turnovers he has looked bad.

He's often way out of position. He freelances like he has no idea what the scheme even is on defense.

When he's in the game and big play over the top happens it's nearly always his fault.

Without the turnovers he's a big liability. His positioning isn't sound. Additionally he has missed some tackles since the pro bowl year. He looked like a hitter to be feared in the pro bowl year. Since he's been juked and run over a few times...

He easily could get benched midway through the season no matter where he goes if he doesn't get turnovers... Even if he somehow magically gets 15 million. He's enough of a liability to single handedly lose you a few games.
