Wilks is definitely the DB whisper. Remember we have more young guys for Wilks to develop on the roster as well. Wait until they are fully ready to be trysted contributors. Having the ability to sub in the secondary and not lose production will be huge.

Thank goodness with Ambry Thomas.
Was dreading another third round bust by Lynch/Peters.

Agreed. He's been excellent. Huge credit to him, Wilks and the DBs coach.

His improvement is so very encouraging.
The product of excellent coaching, persistence and hard work.
Too many wanted to give up on him way too early.

This is a good example of why coaches hang on to players when fans think they're busts. They see them everyday in practice and know that sometimes it just takes a little longer for some players to finally understand how to play in the NFL. They see the talent that we fans can't always see.

Having the ability where our corners actually lockdown, and not just depend on the pass rush, is amazing. These guys are playing lights out. Wilks is doing an excellent job.

I like that wilkes blitzed early, got burned, and quickly realized hemming hurts in and flooding secondary with players would wrap it up ... And it did. Great adjustment

what a difference switching out Oliver with Thomas. All those sacks and pressures were given to the D-line by the secondary. Eagles O-line did a great job and sometimes Hurts had all day to find a receiver and no one was getting opened. D-line did do a good job though of keeping Hurts in the pocket, which may have been the gameplan and why our D-line wasnt just bullrushing in
