I am very disgusted to see this video. Lance cant throwing the balls to guys and very ugly for play games! He is probably bust! He is played for one game in 2020 after injury for the whole games in 2020. 🤢🤢

Is it because of him or coaches calling qb runs because they hadn't practiced much?

I'm not sure which tape this is, but even in this game he has some nice throws to the sidelines that show his arm strength, a beautiful deep ball late in the game that hits his WR in the hands and is dropped, and excellent agility and speed running the ball.

His roommate tested positive for COVID and Trey couldn't practice for the game because he had to quarantine for 10 days.

Edit: 13:30 if you want to see a great deep ball be dropped

I mean that is one game. Also the only game NDSU played this year. Trey didnt get hurt so not sure what you mean by that part I bolded...

Fields had bad games too. Wilson had a bad season in 2019. Like everyone else said it was one bad game. Only guy that never had a bad game was Mac and he doesn't bring the running ability that Lance does. Kyle will coach him up and then scheme the game plan around him.

This ironically reminds me of Alex Smith. Not saying Lance is similar to Smith but the situation is...except this time we don't have Nolan and McCarthy trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Alex came from a "weak" conference and wasn't really considered a sure thing. Lance is way more physically gifted, just as smart, high ceiling, and thankfully he's being drafted in 2021 with the likes of Shanahan and not Rollin with Nolan and Jim Hostler.

I don't know if I would read into this game too much. They had a long Covid lockout. Finally played 1 game. They are completely out of practice. They had no time to gel together. I would look more at 2019 to see who Trey Lance is. He is so young there it's hard to tell too. But looking at this 1 game given the circumstances is ridiculous.
