You don't wait and hope that the QB you want falls to you so you can can draft him. If you want someone who you believe has potential to be a superstar, then you do what you can to get them, especially when it comes to the QB position.

I also think there was alot of teams who probally preferred Lance over Fields. We saw how Fields stock had dropped heading into the draft for whatever reason. I don't know if it was his medical condition or his mechanics. Or even his work ethic was being questioned. Even the Broncos who needed a QB passed on him when he fell into their laps. The WFT could have outbid the Bears, They were picking 1 spot before them. Also the Panthers at 8 could have taken Fields since Sam Darnold is not someone you would want to put all your trust in. The Eagles could have taken Fields but went WR. I know they have Hurts but there is still questions whether he is a longterm solution.

They're nothing alike as players. In fact it should probably be timeout worthy to even refer to both of them!

So excited for Trey, the physical tools should excite anyone, but I have just as much faith in who he is. We've got a real one here folks, the work ethic alone would give him a shot.

I beg to differ, they are more than just the same skin tone.

Body type - Height & Weight
Small school prospects - Nevada & North Dakota State
Mobile QB's with strong arms that can throw (See; Kap & Lance's Numbers in College & Kap's in the NFL)
Tattoo's
Both played QB for the 49ers

One difference - Skin tone: Kap is lighter than Trey "Baby Kap" Lance

He doesn't really say anything. He's interviewing two other people that were at the last two practices about their impressions and they're both extremely high on Lance.

Zach Wilson wasn't good, and to be real, he was bad. Indecisive, inaccurate, threw a pick, held the ball a lot

But it's only practice. It's first first day back in a while. Not the end of the world. How he bounces back tomorrow is what's important. #Jets
