Lol,...love it. My disdain for Urban Meyer has me hoping everything there implodes tho.

Odds are good on that

i guess the minshew door is closed on being our #2.. if there was a team we can unload Jimmy's pay on

we are already set to pay jg, it's been confirmed that his salary this year is not an issue

as for camp, when have you heard any of our QBs look terrible all camp. It's not a risk to say it will be the same this year

there was too much thought. It's simple. Jg is our week 1 starter unless Kyle decides he's not. Any other depth battles is irrelevant
5 interceptions in a row anyone?

Was that every day, no

Dude… am I the only one who hope it's Minshew and Lance as our QBs for the next 4 years?

There are too many different factors at play to even guess what management will want to do or will be able to do to guess at least until TC and preseason.

How does JG look, how does Trely look? Who is QB 3 and how does he look? Those questions alhave to be asked and answered. It will become obvious what management thinks by how we look on the depth chart by opening day.

If they think Trey is ready and that the backup behind Trey could step in and win games for us in an emergency, that's one scenario where it would make sense to trade JG, and save money. That thought would have to be tempered because unless JG looked absolutely stellar in preseason we could be looking at a relatively low level of compensation for him.

If Trey looks great, and there is no great faith in QB3, JG stays.

If they don't think Trey is completely ready, JG stays, unless they are absolutey certain whoever QB3 is can carry us until Trey is ready.

We have a pretty good team, and could be making a playoff push. They won't jeopardize that solely based on paying JG salary.
Too much thought on this. Both QBs will look good in camp as you can't touch the QBs. QB3 has no effect on QB1 or 2.

It's going to be an org direction change decision before the start of the season. There really is way to screw this up. We will see what happens

Disagree entirely. If they do want trade JG, they won't unless whoever is currently sl QB3 is adequate. Why would they? And even then they might decide to pay the money to Keep JG for a year until we see howTrey looks over an entire season.

And making a statement that both QBs will look good in. Camp before its happened sounds like a wish,. I never count my chickens early.

Too much thought? Lmfao😂

Your funny. I was responding originally to a post about how they should trade JG right now . There are scenarios where they might choose to do that and , but none are right now. And of course, Kyle, and Lynch, would definitely be the decision makers. You seem to thinki was advocating for a trade, when I was not. Nothing is ever set in stone, but I don't think they dump their proven QB because they drafted talented prospect. And that's all he is at this point. When he has shown geus more than that the conversation changes. And you are nuts if you don't think they evaluate the entire QB room when they decide to make a change. It would be insane to put the entire tean in the hands of a rookie with no plan tbscj him up. But isee from these posts almost anything like a plan would be "too much thought". 😂

Not that I think it's very likely but the Jets seem like the best option for Jimmy I think. Familiar with the coaching staff, they have a ton of cap space, a ton of draft picks and could use a good backup to Zach Wilson.

My take on your post was more on QB3 having an effect on keeping jg. I don't think we get rid of jg this year

A good option too, but I think that since we are closer to saleh something should have happened sooner. This waiting game has me thinking we are set

I'm still thinking that Jimmy starts the first few games of the season and we play it by ear with Trey. Going to be interesting and for once in a long time I'm really excited to watch preseason as I think they play Lance a lot during those 3 games

Perfect answer. Any thot of trading Jimmy is nutty. We have best QB situation in the NFL, with a proven 23-8 starter, and a #3 pick in the draft, who is prophesied to be the next coming of all world QBs, big arm, great runner, supposedly photographic memory and is able to learn Kyle's playbook quickly, weighs 230, like Jimmy a great leader, and so on.

Barring another 32 guys on IR yr, we are a legit top 2, maybe top 3 favorite to make the SB, and like no other team in the league, have 2 starting QBs, at least potentially…and that is if Trey is as good as his fans predict. If the above is true, there isn't a way in the world JL/KS are going to trade JG. We are set up too perfectly to make a mistake like that.

Has anyone forgotten the "next coming" in Mullie…or CJ? We have a proven winner in jimmyG , and can only hope that Trey lives up to his accolades.
Whatever, we are set for the long 17 game run, plus how ever many after that. Why on earth risk this one beautiful opportunity to play all season with 2
Ace QBs (one proven, the other we can hope).

This is a 1 time opportunity to use this advantage over the entire NFL. Let's not blow it by even thinking about trading the guy who most likely will be our starter this yr, with a backup who will also probably be starter material this yr. Every other NFL team would love to have our advantage this yr with two likely starters at QB. Cherish the fact that no matter who starts as our #1 QB, our other QB is #1a.

With the massive # of injuries league wide last yr, and that included a bunch of QBs…guys…fans…bros…THIS is our yr.
