tall frame

unorthodox ugly throwing motion
same type of single throw passer
only throw decent ball is a laser
no touch
struggles with accuracy
struggles with short throws in the flat
low ball position and arm during loading
slashes delivery across body
low elbow below shoulder line
struggles to climb pocket while making reads
locks into target
tendency for tunnel vision
both decent runners in open space
both quiet leaders
didn't take defenses long to catch up to Kap, has already happened to TL

It's funny, Kyle could have had developed Kaepernick from the git-go in 2017, instead of cutting him. (leaving out the non-football issues aside) Lance and Colin have certain similarities. I still believe if Colin had Kyle as his OC - he'd be lighting it up in the NFL and winning a ton of games. Tomsula and Kelly simply don't know how to create an NFL offense and it doesn't help that they had a doofus GM who didn't talk to the scouts or coaches when he drafted players. Jim Harbaugh would have been able to motivate Colin to study more tape and continue to develop his mechanics IMO, and Jim would have had drafted better WR's than Baalke.

Physically talented players like Colin and Trey take (Ironically) more time to develop. I mean Trey probably wouldn't have gotten injured if he didn't show such great running ability in college. For Example, I really haven't seen Kyle call QB power as much when Purdy was QB vs Trey.

not so sure I agree with that... saw a physically talented QB last night playing for the Browns (DTR) who had a very good showing...

Wow a good showing in preseason. HOF here we come!

DTR is almost a year older than Trey despite being a rookie while Trey is in year 3. He's also had about 1000 more pass attempts in college than Trey did. Dude is like Van Wilder…

Its weird with all the hostility toward "apparently" a 3rd string QB who has no shot at QB1. Or maybe he is putting together such a strong camp that those with a dog in the fight are actually getting worried. Its entertaining nonetheless.

Like... Okay... Thanks for the late breaking news.

Kyle's management of ALL 53 spots has been less flawed than any other coach in the NFL the last several years. Clearly, this is what matters most, and this is the reason for our recent success.

Agree with your bottom point to be sure. They've been great overall.

The team spent tons on draft capital on him and so far has been a disappointment. Any sane fans can figure out the rationale for the hostility. Did you really not figure this out?

Why you hanging on the past? Lets try to keep up with the present. By all indications Trey is light years a head of where he was his rookie year. And has been stacking solid practices for a week now. Being arguably the best QB in TC so far.

You have not answered my question.

I didn't know I was obligated to answer any of your questions. 🤣

Make sense that you don't want to answer the question. It was a yes or no question. No matter what your answer is it would be entertaining to us.

Your question is pointless. Which is why I asked why you were hanging onto the past. Please try to catch up to the present. The present is far more important than anything that happened a year ago.

Well I am glad I can entertain you.

As much as I like Brock and believe he deserves the right to be QB1, he has done nothing to separate himself from Trey and Sam so far in TC. And I think that worries the anyone but Trey crowd.

You don't think too highly of Darnold right?

Why does he have to separate himself in TC, the kid played lights out when it mattered, both in the regular season and playoffs. If that's not separating himself from the others what is?

I don't dispute the bolded according to the reports. I just find it funny that for the umpteenth time your still clinging to this worried notion.

I for one can't wait to use my own eyes with each of these QBs. But if I'm not mistaken you are the guy who don't believe in the eye test because it isn't quantifiable.

It clearly separated Brock. That's why he's not in an actual competition for the job.

YAC's take is bizarre. He's putting a lot of weight in second hand reporting a week into a TC where there isn't a competition for the first spot and he doesn't know the specifics of what Brock and CO. may or may not be focusing on in their reps.

It's also odd to make the case that it's the 'anti Trey' crowd that would be 'worried' that Brock hasn't separated himself from Trey and Darnold… especially if you think lowly of Darnold (which I'm fairly certain he does).
