so TL did not get traded during the draft only means Lynch did not get an offer, nobody wants him right now...

Miami has not solved their QB void yet, I am keeping my eye this situation after June when TL his cap his is half... maybe they already have a deal in place with McDaniels...

Or nobody had an offer that John and Kyle liked. People are assuming they would accept less than a 1st RD pick for him. Just because they are fielding offers doesn't mean they are just going to give him away. Especially when they don't have to. He's cheap and it actually cost them more to trade him than it is to keep him. So again how does trading him make any sense?

i didn't expect Lance to get traded during the draft, and it obviously didn't happened. I've always thought that IF he was traded, it would be only after we nailed down Purdy's timeline. I don't think we've even signed a fourth qb, right?

if I'm not mistaken, the guys can go out on the field with the coaches in a few weeks, per kyle. I wonder if the media will get to attend. I'm super curious how lance looks now with his improved throwing motion. Eager to hear how he looks and what he's been working on.

i just looked it up - here is the off season schedule. To answer my question up above, media won't be allowed to attend.

"During the first two weeks of the 49ers' offseason program, the players are allowed to attend meetings, and also go through strength training and physical rehabilitation.

The next phase of the offseason program consists of three weeks of on-field work but with no offensive-vs.-defense situations. The on-field work may only be conducted at walk-through pace.

In the final phase, the team is allowed to go through non-padded practices with no contact.

Teams are not allowed to wear pads or take part in live contact until training camp."

you do know they can trade/cut a play prior to June 1st and designate it a post-June 1st move, right lol? The date has nothing to do with it. They just can't touch the cap relief until after june 1st.

They didn't draft a QB A: because all the QBs worth drafting went in the 4th. B: No one wanted Trey so there was no immediate need for them to draft one.

I don't understand the urgency to move on from Lance. Whether he starts is a separate question, but I just don't see a reason to give up on potential unless a team really pays up in trade. The idea of trying to get some modest value back out of him just to cut losses is a road to heartbreak.
