It is kinda funny though that Kyle completely blows his 3 firsts pick, gets lucky as hell with Brock, and the end result is he's a genius lol

Hows that any different then Bellicheck paying big money to Bledsoe only for him to get hurt and then Brady emerge.

Don't know don't care

Read player quotes from guys like Bosa basically saying "If he doesn't screw up we should be good"

Nobody really believed in Trey. All you heard was we will have to weather the rough times and he has great upside. They were highly invested in Trey and the only way to make the investment work was by playing him and praying it starts to click.

Now with Brock they don't have to pray for something that they probably deep down knew was never going to happen

My favorite was when bosa said "we've got a qb!" He looked super happy too. Lol

i said it a lot and people shut me down but the players never seemed thrilled to have Lance starting.

On the flip side, they were throwing praise on Purdy in training camp and telling demeco that this guy has "it"

I'm not just making up stuff when I say he's played bad and his practice/camp reports Weren't very good. He has a few nice throws here and there in the times he played but that's it. People hang onto those like he doesn't have a poor/mediocre play 75% of the time.. all while completing half his passes. Imaging being one of the guys and you see Lance completely miss WR multiple times a game. I'd be furious. This is the nfl. Not college

But Brock was "okay". Lol

"Brock Purdy's success as Mr. Irrelevant during his rookie season was unprecedented. However, it wasn't just his status as the final pick in the draft that made his first year remarkable. Sumer Sports, an NFL analytics outlet, put together a graphic that shows Purdy as the second-most productive rookie quarterback since 2016."

Ringing endorsement from the most positive guy on the team….

"We need to do our best to make it as easy as we can for Trey," Kittle said. "While there's going to be ups and downs, we need to play at a high enough level where if Trey has a game where he throws a couple picks, it is what it is and we're going to be playing well enough to win those games."

I've never met a fan of football in real life that thought he was a good pick. Lol only on here and then when the media talks about his "high ceiling"

I was at a bar on draft night and my buddy was literally almost crying laughing when we selected him. Lol I was optimistic but not thrilled. I was shocked we took him.

Ive only met 2. 1 liked it because he was going to be his Sleeper QB in FF. The other because of Madden(even though he's a steelers fan )

Oh well. What's done is done and we drafted him. So let's hope he proves us all wrong and balls. Or Purdy stays healthy and balls. One or the other is acceptable.

That's the point I've never understood. Who cares if it's Trey, Brock or Sam. I just Niners to win. Maybe luck out and Trey becomes a star and imagine what we could get for Brock?
a roster to win the SB now
swap TL and Cousins would be steal for the 9ers
where there is smoke there is fire

so if it's fan support not based on ability then it has to be based on something else... what is it?

Can we please stop with the Kirk Cousins talk? Look at how many great quarterbacks we already missed out on because a certain coach wanted his 🗑 ass.

Who cares what other fans think lol. Most people thought Zach Wilson was gonna be good.

Whoever thought Zach Wilson would be good definitely doesn't understand the intangible side of playing qb. He has some awesome physical talent, for sure.
