he was tossing wobblers before he hurt his finger as well
Not really - he had no issues in college or prior to the injury of throwing wobblers .

Not that we all didn't know that already.

That news was official at the end of year presser when they were referring to JG in the past tense.

Who gives a crap about wobblers if they're accurate?
Not as easy to catch. In less than ideal conditions, accuracy suffers greatly.

Agreed 100%. His delivery now seems more "loopy" and a lot more elbow then shoulder. Almost as if he's compensating for a shoulder injury. Not saying he's injured, just what it looks like.

I said the exact same thing to a buddy the other day. He looks to be elbow-whipping the ball. That could explain some of the "arm fitness" reports…tennis elbow type stuff.

The evolution in QB mechanics being taught from when I was playing football in high school and college a little over a decade ago to what is being taught now is fascinating. The whole swing the back leg through with a high elbow was standard, but it's definitely changed. Trey Lance is already employing a lot of these newer mechanics. The conversation between Simms and Burrow is great. Also, I think this may be why a lot of people think they're seeing Trey elbow'ing/throw with side delivery when it's actually just a lower elbow.
If your QB coach still teaches to throw with a high elbow or bring your back leg through, you're never going to make plays like these. And yes, non-NFL QBs can make these throws.#Throwetry pic.twitter.com/QGpB8Yd5GF

Listen up…this is for the "SWING THE BACK LEG THROUGH AND GET ON TOP OF THE BALL" gang. Best part is your relative size & strength don't matter one freaking bit…all can get tremendous value from this. So at least do some research b4 u dismiss it. Or don't 🤷♂️ #effortlesspower https://t.co/DbyD0kD2VL

I thought the same a while back, but apparently, that's what's being taught nowadays. I posted a Tweet from some QB coaches and a video of Joe Burrow explaining it a few weeks back, but I'm too lazy to dig thru the pages and find it. Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, etc. all do the same thing.
