You don't trade all that draft capital for Mac Jones. No one else wanted him. Kyle wasn't forced into anything.

If Lance starts out 2-4 will fans be happy? That's what McCorkle did as a starter at the beginning of the yr. Will fans be happy losing 4 of their last 5 games and having Lance toss 7 INTs in that time span? That what McCorkle did. The pro Jones crowd needs to remember that when they're b***hing about Lance which they will be

McCorkle didn't have Kyle Shanahan, Deebo, Aiyuk or George Kittle. His #1 was our #3 2 years ago.

As for the losses. Thought wins and losses weren't a QB stat?

Well should start believing in franchise QBs because that's what this league is now.

But it's not really. Just a term people use. In this forum alone there were 3 responses all 3 different on what a "franchise" QB is.

Serious question. What is a franchise QB in your own personal opinion?

A FQB is a QB that a starter for a decade that wins and gets a team to the playoffs for the majority of the time he's the starter (or has that elite talent but stuck on a god awful team like Stafford/Watson). Every team is looking for that FQB because not many teams have it. We haven't had a FQB since Young.

IMO aaron Rogers is a FQB. Andy Dalton is not a FQB even though he got a extension in cinci.
I could careless if you give up draft picks for a player you have conviction over that could be a FQB. The position is that important in today's NFL…and if you don't think it is you clearly haven't been paying attention.

We all should be smited with that kind of pressure. He should be able to handle the pressure. If he can't take it, find another career.

I don't think Lance has complained about a thing…all he's said so far is he wants to be the starter and is gonna so whatever to be that.

mayo is just talking about bull s**t reports that fill up this feed.

Agreed. He is just fine. I haven't seen anything from him that would indicate any mental weakness whatsoever.

So By your own metric. Jimmy G would be a FQB if we keep rolling with him.

Lol, no. Teams don't trade 3 first rounders to replace FQB's.
Every time I click on a thread and see NY taking on multiple people it reminds me of this old Mike Vallely 4vs1 fight video. I should make a Webzone meme version.

No not by my metric. I don't think Jared Goff is a FQB either and he was doing just fine in LA.

Your words....

A FQB is a QB that a starter for a decade that wins and gets a team to the playoffs for the majority of the time he's the starter

I repeat the term FQB is just a made up term. You yourself changed the dynamics of it in 5 minutes

When did two yrs equal a decade lol? You don't like the term because it doesn't fit your narrative. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Sorry dude.

Every team wants that decade long starter who constantly gets them to the playoffs AND is a major reason that is happening.

you want avg and you can't win with avg now.
