Trey will take over after our first drive. Book it.

The combo of the Jimmy fanbase and the Mac Jones fanbase would be having a field day. And yes I do understand it would be hard for the Jimmy fans also if Jimmy started and lost but atleast with him he is not part of this team's future. I think even the biggest Jimmy supporters can agree with that.
The Rams are a big challenge for any NFL QB.
I mean, it's not like we are playing HOU.

He has won 1 game.
not "games"
Kyle's doing a rope-a-dope. Trey will come in after first drive or Jimmy's first throw.

But they will start Jimmy G. He is injured. We need to win. So who knows what happens?
Why is that? Trey throws touchdowns, wins games.
Not against talent like that. He's not ready for the big time yet. But Houston was an improvement IMO. From what we previously saw. So that's good.
Went against Chandler Jones, JJ Watt & Budda Baker earlier this year in his first start. Cards have been a top 5/10 defense all year.
Try again.

He hasn't played Aaron Donald and Jaylen Ramsey. I didn't think he looked great against the Cardinals at all. Better against a weak Houston team.

We shouldn't worry about anyone's feelings...be it Jimmy or Trey... or their fans.
There is nothing but positives for us long term if Trey got the start tomorrow... where as the same can't be said about Jimmy starting.

Why is it always a Jimmy or Trey thing. Why can't it be a team thing. Be nice if posters could support the team and not constantly snipe over their 'favorites.' This place has become so hostile and toxic and filled with posters self regard that it's hardly worth coming in here anymore.
It seems like there is a growing contingent in here that hate the owner, hate the GM, hate the front office, hate the coach, hate the QB, (it's Jimmy's turn now but I suspect Lance's day will come) and on any given day hate this player or that player for any number of reasons.
I guess maybe they just like the uniforms, which are still pretty cool, or are determined to live in past with their dreams of the dynasty years. Whatever the reason it's getting pretty tiresome

Pretty sure he can hand the ball off 40+ times and shovel pass the way our other QB beat Aaron Donald and Ramsey

He played Houston almost 3 months later, he was a different player at that point.
But he has already played against top tier defensive talent, and it was at a time the coach wasn't prepared to play him but injury forced his hand. He can handle the Rams if need be, doesn't mean he won't make a mistake or two but those are to be expected given his experience level and his being a rookie.

I was going to say, HOU has a pretty good defense, especially at forcing TOs.
- but HOU is obviously not in the same class as LA

Wouldn't post that like a badge of honor. We put up 10 points and he was out for 3 weeks after that game lol
