Bro, right? What is happening right now? Lol.

To your other posts about his college mechanics, I just watched a bunch of his college throws, much tighter and higher release as you said. Would love to know the story behind the change. Or maybe it was just "jitters" or whatever from being a rookie.

Kyle has already mentioned him tightening up/changing up some of his release mechanics (post Texans game). You still wondering?

So in trying to improve, they got worse/uglier? Interesting theory you have.

So "he's trying to throw differently" is not a good enough answer right now and you're still going to wonder what's up. Is this what you're saying?

Who said the bolded? You quoted it so I'm assuming someone actually said this?

What's up with that false step out of the gun? It's so gross. The weird part is he didn't do it his first season as a starter, and when he came back for the one game in 2021, he was doing it. Either someone coached him to do that, or he unknowingly started doing it in 2021 and his QB coach didn't address it.

Simply using a staggered stance fixes the issue.

Huh? Who are you talking about?

thats ridiculous.

The question is will Trey be our QB for the next decade if the answer is yes then he is worth it how Mac does is completely irrelevant

Well of course he will be the QB for at least 5 years since we spent that many years of draft picks on him. But time doesn't really matter, Alex Smith was our QB for a decade.

If you want it simpler, will Trey win more Super Bowls than the 3 QB's we could have had with those picks. Since winning Super Bowls is all that matters. You need to measure success, not duration lol.

Totally disagree with the bolded

Guess I was confused about first year starting and 1 game in 2021. Didn't realize you were talkin college. What is the false step? I may not have paid enough attention to see it.

His footwork is terrible. Not that surprising since Kyle doesn't seem to care much about footwork or mechanics.

Yes, I refering to his college starts. My bad if I wasn't clear.

A false step is wasted motion/step. Trey always false steps out of the gun. It's weird because he didn't do it much(at all as far as I remember) in 2020 but came back in 2021 with it. It's so gross and so glaring for anyone that has been drilled by a football coach for false stepping. This is an easy fix, tho. Either stagger his stance and it'll naturally fix OR remind him to drive off his left instead of stepping back with it.

Kyle told us he's throwing the ball differently.

You didn't answer the question. Why the delay? Are you truly wondering about this or just trying to needlessly drag it out?

Hmm… what problems does it cause? I always thought that each play has a certain amount of steps the QB is supposed to take for timing, play development. This looks like a 3 step drop. Is it not supposed to be?

It's completely tongue in cheek,...lol.

This is simply not the way you grade your draft picks. They aren't completely devalued if a guy 10 or so spots behind them goes on to have a better career. It's just a stupid way to go about evaluation.

Tom Brady agrees.

Are you referring to that 1st step before he gets the ball?

This is exactly why false steps are bad. A false step is an unnecessary step that messes with timing. This is one reason why Trey looks so awkwardly rushed and a bit out of sync on those quick 1/3 step stop throws.

Lol yes,...the entire 1st 6 rounds of his draft were a bunch of useless bums that weren't worth it.
