What I saw was a throw intended for Sherfield that Lance tried to line drive but should have been thrown over the linebackers and dropped into the basket because the lb was able to tip it. For sure TD😎 Now Lance did start to hit his receivers between the hash marks and stop holding the ball

A fan of what exactly?

I think thats fair. So far I have not been impressed with his run instincts. He doesn't have good vision, he's not very fast and he's not that illusive. The proof is that he almost always gets tackled in the open field. I'm not saying he's not mobil at all, but I'd consider him below average as "mobile" qbs go.

Hes not strong, fast and he's not ellusive. I was equally upset with his decisions to throw it on 4th down and his decision to run out of bounds short of the goal line. That stiff can be corrected. He needs to be aware of the down and distance and specific point in the game.

His running is actually really weird. I keep expecting something to change, but his runs are freakishly un-clutch. He probably had over a dozen runs now between his first 2 starts where he comes up just short of a 1st down or TD on 3rd/4th down . I think this is just weird bad luck that will still change with time

There are running lanes, but he's not as fast as Colin Kaepernick or Lamar Jackson, and he's not as strong as say Cam Newton or Josh Allen.
He's going to be win us some plays with his mobility, but I don't see him racking up a 1000 yard rushing season any time soon.

If he can make plays off script, sprinkle in good yardage on QB runs, and keep the defense honest... that's what it's all about, but the long-term plan for him is to win with his arm.

Below average is not a good assessment there. He's faster than Mahomes and Allen, but you wouldn't consider them "below average" mobile QBs. He has plenty of ability in the mobility department.

I would say he's in the top-half. He's not Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson, but He's elusive enough in the pocket to make extended plays, and that's something that Kaep couldn't do despite his top-end speed. He's what you need in todays NFL.

The throw on 4th down that Archuleta pointed out was a good play by the Texans safeties?

I'd have to watch the replay again, but my initial though was I wasn't so sure if he'd make it if he ran it, and I didn't see where he could throw it.
Bad 1st half but better 2nd half. Chemistry/timing is off but the kid had a few wow throws that were very impressive kid has alot of talent. The game is a little fast for him right now but experience will help him with that

Strongly disagree. Go rewatch the play. It was a poor throw, period. Lol intentional? Yeah, Lance threw the ball at Jennings' ankles on purpose.

For the record, I thought Lance had a solid game, and I look forward to his continued development. I feel compelled to say that because—somehow—people in here are being branded "haters" for offering any criticism.

Was he asked? Did he confirm?

And on the intentional thing let's just be clear: Have you ever heard of a football concept of throwing low to avoid defenders making a play on the ball? Y or N?
I listened to the game on the radio first, then watched the replay, and Lance actually looked a lot better than he "sounded" on the radio broadcast. Maybe I was biased knowing they won, and he had some bone headed plays, but I think they need to trust him more, because teams are just going to load up on the run.

Honestly, he reminds me a lot of Watson. I was mad when we didn't draft Watson. I think they made up for it though. Cannot wait to see more. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

He is. You're just a troll.
Kid played good. Start jimmy next week. Gives us better chance to win if he's not injured
