Could of went overtop with the ball stretch like Cam, but the hit he took was brutal.

Similar issue to the interception. He seems to fixate on one thing and has tunnel vision as a result. I hope he'll watch the film and learn from mistakes like this.

Mahomes and Wilson make it look easy, but that's a tough play to be honest. The defender covering Mitchell played that very well.

I think the better play would've been to try and dive to the pylon.

1.) The playcalling was BECAUSE of Trey. Because of Trey's raw skill as a passer at this point, we need to run the playcalling style that we had today— heavy run, read option, one/two progression plays, and play action. I think that works for one or two games, but if we do this all season, Trey's gonna take a lot of punishment. He's just not there yet as a passer and we're going to run him into the ground if we have to play this game every week.

2.) Some of the holding penalties were bad, yes, but some of them were to prevent pass rushers from getting a clean hit on Trey when he preemptively left the pocket. Some, but not all, of those penalties were on him.

3.) His receivers had some unfortunate drops, but they also had some amazing catches to bail Trey out as well. Trey can stand to throw more accurate passes. The passer and his receivers rely on one another.

Trey is a viable option in a backup role this season. He showed some promise, but he has obvious limitations. Thankfully, we don't have to play Chandler Jones and JJ Watt every week, but hopefully Jimmy comes back soon.

You're just acting like a whiner if you say there was nothing positive Lance did today. There were a few throws and a good mess of runs that Jimmy simply could not execute.
