Trey played okay coming off the bench against a very poor defense. I will hold off judgement or praise for at least one more week when the game plan is centered around him and we are up against tougher competition..

Might be just me but seems like the Hawks were a little afraid of his running ability because Wagner just sits there and waits for him whereas he'd likely attack if it was Jimmy G or other non athletic QB.

The way Lance runs is very Wilson like - but he's so much bigger than Wilson. That's scary - to have that kind of agility in a QB at that size. So, you have to be worried about him making you miss or run thru your arms - if you attack instead of wait and make sure you get him.

Not to mention - all of those guys pretty much got most of the snaps in the training camp and were prepared to be starter in week 1.
Ppl really hating on the kid. Draft is over. It's ok if you were not 100% right or we didn't draft the QB you wanted - you don't have to give disingenuous takes on this kid. It's clear that he can play this game. He looked better in 4th quarter than he did in 3rd quarter and I think he'll get better than better after every 2-3 games under his belt.
...and I just don't see anything where I felt - he is more raw than other QBs drafted in 1st round. In fact - he showed nice poise on some of the runs. He also converted multiple 4th down on the last drive and made some nice throws. Yes, he also had some bad throws but that's to be expected.
Nailed it.

I was a fan of this play. Escaped the rush and didn't force the run. He kept his eyes on the receivers and picked up the first down. Sanu was wide open and I wonder if it's partially due to the threat of Trey taking off freezing the defenders.

Sanu is a veteran and knows this system well. He found a gap to sit in like a te and help his QB out, I'm glad we have him.

I agree with most of what you're saying here. Trey Lance did alright, all things considered. Two things undeniable at this point, Lance seems to ha e a penchant for big plays and he's got a looooonnnngggg way to go processing defences and progressions.
At this point, you have to be a little bit anxious that they screwed the pooch in passing on Mac Jones as he looks quite good.

Much as I like jimmy, I'm willing to let lance start the whole season whether he does good or he sucks.

This was an excellent play. Again - I don't see - deer in the headlights - scared - game moving too fast for him stuff that is coming from some ppl. He easily could have taken off to the right side after stepping in to avoid rush and picked up a nice gain but picked up more yards by passing the ball. I thought there were enough good things to feel very good about Lance.

Glad to see some sanity here in the zone.

I mean on the fly without legit practice or experience to compare to veteran QBs? Of course he does.
But it looks like we have to wait a week to see how he truly gauges against other starting QBs and rookie QBs that were given a headstart.

He's struggled at times feeling pressure from the right side, so this play stood out to me as well. You can also see how twitchy he is.
+5 swag points for 1-handing the snap

The throw was fine, Kittle had both hands on the ball.
It was in front of the endzone and he had to jump as high as he could to get to it. A lower ball lets Kittle cradle it in and protect himself instead he got rocked by Adams and dropped it.
I didn't know Kittle had a 6 inch vertical.![]()
What a play by Jamal Adams. Perfect timing to break up this pass to George Kittle. #Seahawks pic.twitter.com/mBKx8pfZCq

Holy s**t! Look at Kittle using every last ounce of energy to jump as high as he possibly could. I hope Amazon puts up some next gen stats because that has to be a record. Amazing vert.
Did it with a bad calf that almost cost him the game.

I thought he played well overall. There is a lot of arm talent and leg talent. He was confused at times and made some inaccurate throws. But I would expect that. He's a young rookie. I was actually kind of impressed for the most part.
