The #49ers are adding to their pass rush, signing OLB Samson Ebukam to a two-year deal worth up to $13.5 million, per @TomPelissero
. Ebukam (6-3, 245) played four years for the Rams. In 2020, he totaled 4.5 sacks, 7 quarterback hits and 3 tackles for loss.

Our new defensive staff additions and our new DC have familiarity with a hybrid / 3-4 scheme.
I could see our defensive evolve into more mixed looks and Ebukam can play SAM and DE in the scheme. I'd still want Hyder back if available.
