Same here. I think he'll have an impact in other ways than sacks. And that's fine with me, I'm not expecting a refined pass rusher like others are expecting him to be.

This is what I've been saying about Armstead, he helps in more ways than just sacks, same for Bosa. Sacks aren't the only stat or thing that makes or breaks a DL. As long as the DL gets pressure, that's good enough for me, yes I love getting to the QB and sacking them, hopefully AA and Bosa have similar numbers like they did in 2019. I do like Ebukam, I think Kocurek can really develop him, same with Key, Hurst, Givens, Kinlaw, etc....

Who said that? 😂 IMO if we're cautiously excited about him it's cause he's a good athlete and he's acknowledged his need to get better with technique. Even Samson wouldn't call himself a refined pass rusher, lol.

Look through the thread and you will see who said that lol Some posters are expecting 10+ sacks. Nick Bosa was a monster and had 9 sacks. It's hard to get over ten sacks with a limited pass rush arsenal unless he plans on feasting off bosas left overs like arik armstead lol

No one has said that.. we just hope the guy can be more than decent to take pressure off.. we assume a healthy bosa....... we do not have buck any more. we can not depend on ford. aa is aa.. that is why some of us along with jason v are lobbying to bring melvin in here to help out
