Completely disagree lol. They're hands down better right now on offense than when he took the job. Wait a year for what? The coach is supposed to come in with a vision of how the team is gonna be, not just "wait and see" lol. Also, explosive speed works in any offense
Absolute no brainer
Installing your system and see how pieces fall into place. THEN start changing the parts because forcing a mirror image of SF won't work. Feel out how it will sit in MIA. Sort of like some teams just won't play a certain style per their history and persona. Like trying to force a style of play in GB or CHI or DAL or what Chip Kelly tried to do in SF. Some things just don't work in some organizations.
I absolutely don't think McD will fail. His passion for the game and the time he spends on it, people like that do not fail. Now include his way of communicating, dude gets people to buy in.
Again, here you are blaming MM for moves Grier is making to improve the roster. Grier went out and upgraded the OL, upgraded the backup QB, got a FB because they will need one, and added some speed and playmaking ability at the skill positions.
Clearly the GM who has been there for 6 years now, needs to start winning or his seat is going to get hot. And a lot of what he is doing, kinda resembles what Snead did after hiring McVay (acquired Whitworth, John Sullivan and Robert Woods).
