Sometimes good receivers win no matter how you try and cover them. I wonder how many times fans of other teams used to say that about Rice or Owens.
Brutal.

Do we even have 5 DB's?

It's all about FOOTBALL IQ and I hope MECO after this experience learned a thing or two..

It's one thing to get beat by the better player, but…Ryans didn't even try

He was the only person Rodgers targeted on that drive and he was wide open on both bog plays.

So painful to watch.

JD mentioned that Lemonier played the wrong technique. he was in bail technique (which makes no sense when you have safety help over the top. i think it was cover 2?) for some reason and allowed a free in-breaking dig whereas on the other side Moseley was not playing this technique. he was playing to his man following him up the sideline.

Lord.

Yup and he's exactly right. That was 100% on Demmo. Ryan's getting so much f**kin hate in here it's a damn joke. The offense can get every excuse in the world but our rookie DC in his first year, without his CB1 given street replacements by Lynch and no Greenlaw gets none. Same people crying were the same ones crying about Saleh all the time so it doesn't suprise me

Ryan's said this in his presser. Lenoir played it wrong. He was supposed to be on press coverage with safety help over the top

We had two time outs at the snap. We could all see Lenoir was 10 yards off the CB. Did Ryan? Why not call a time out at that point and get the play right?

What are you his wife?!

Lol. He went with a PREVENT when he should've went with a COVER 3, if Rodgers beats us in that case, then so be it. And who's giving the offense excuses?!? THEY GAVE US THE LEAD WITH 37 SECONDS!!!!! It's the freaking defenses job to not blow it! And rookie DC??? I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure this was suppose to be a Super bowl or bust season, in the words of John Lynch "we believe this team is more loaded than 2019" why in the world do you have a rookie DC going through growing pains when we are trying to make a super bowl run?! If that's the card you want to play then the loss is on Kyle Shanahan for doing a half ass job replacing Saleh. For the sake of the team, I hope this is a learning experience and DeMeco becomes better from it, but it's not going to take away that he choked the game away and is keeping us from a 3-way tie in the NFC West

Good questions. No reporters asked him that. And only KS is allowed to call timeouts.

It wasn't prevent defense. Cover2 Man is tighter coverage than Cover3 zone. That was considered a busted coverage. The other 10 defenders knew it was man coverage while Lenoir was in his own world. Could he have prevented that catch? I don't know, but Adams never would have been that open if Lenoir played it correctly. This is about the final Adams catch.

So childish. Saying the offense gave us the lead with 37 seconds to go is excusing the fact that they were nonexistent in the first half and for the 2nd game in a row had a lethargic start to the game. Football is 4 quarters and what happens in all of them affect the outcome of the game. And rookie DC is not a card that I'm playing, it's a fact and you answered it yourself, how is any of that Demecos fault?
