There's no offensive head coach that they can bring in outside of McDaniel that can keep the same offensive continuity. The offense isn't the problem.

Their defense was a mess and it's clear that Zimmer is kind of a dinosaur in the current NFL.

There's no reason to believe that one Defensive coach is the same as any other. If they feel that Ryans can connect well with the players and has a more modern approach to the game then it won't matter what side of the ball he coaches on.

Kyle would be so jealous if McDaniels gets to coach Cousins.

No, it does not appear there are many Defenses that are better than us or that can match us at this point.

Beyond that, the "Who's got it better than us?" saying will live on for me, I like it a lot and will continue using it.

The AFC is all offense and no defense whatsoever. If we make it past the Rams, those 53 minutes of the 2019 Superbowl could actually extend to 60 this time in 2022.

Jim Harbaugh will always have a place in 49er history, that's for sure. Can't wait to have a rematch with Mahomes if we get that far. Its going to be insane in the bay area if that happens.

Out of our hands. ShanaLynch will just have to roll with the changes and plug on, just like when ShanaLynch lost Saleh. I'm sure the front office will have options. I like the two current 49er DB coaches (who are both - I think - former Defensive coordinators) in their own right, to take over Demeco's job if he goes.

Completely agree, especially with the talent they have on offense. The Raiders are the team that scare me with taking him from us.

That pumpkin pie cut owner of theirs will not touch anything 49ers, I'm only worried about the Vikings.

Really thought the Raiders were going to go hard after him. Maybe they did, but Harbaugh said no for certain reasons. Maybe he didn't want to move all the way to Las Vegas.

Agree, from defensive coach to Harbaugh- an offensive coach. I think its past that 4 year timespan that Harbaugh wears out his welcome wherever he is.

A smart Harbaugh will wait until he has full contol (i.e. Jim is given the authority to hire his own GM, for example). Otherwise I'd stay at U of M.
