hes that good

Another solid year like this, and he will be gone

I think he could be gone before then. I'd love at least one more year from him though.

It's hard to give a first year DC the HC position. Hard to sell that to your fan base.
Brilliant game plan by Ryan's. Sent pressure from different positions, I liked seeing that. Stunts that generated pressure and got home. The league mvp was rattled and looked like a deer in the headlights after the first drive. The thing I was most impressed with those is they doubled Adam's and on third down took there go to weapons away and the results showed. Hope he sticks around for at least another year.

That double safety blitz that resulted in that deep incompletion was such a ballsy call.

That playcall had me in awe. To me, it wasn't so much a ballsy call, but more outsmarting Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur.

The one thing I've noticed about Demeco's evolution as defensive coordinator is that he got better at disguising his looks. And this one was masterful.
By giving him a look where he blitzed his safeties from deep, he practically GOADED Aaron Rodgers into taking a deep shot, and then the two defensive backs that were in coverage (Hufanga, and Johnson?) were well-prepared for what the play was going to be.

Dime unit (3 safeties, 3 CBs). The blitz was poorly timed. Like you guys said the safeties came from such a deep depth they never factored into the pass rush. But GB had two deep routes dialed up. Rodgers threw it into double coverage. Moseley was burnt.

I think the idea was for Rodgers to see the safeties blitz and automatically take his eyes deep which brought him to a double coverage.
That's what it was. Most people in the game don't think you can confuse or trick The great Aaron Rodgers but it is exactly what DeMeco Ryans did that whole game. That blitz was designed to force Rodgers to do exactly what he did and that was force a deep shot to Adams. All 11 defenders knew what they were doing. The double blitz was not designed to sack Rodgers, it was designed to make him throw that pass exactly the way he did it. He got played for a sucker and he knew it.

That first GB position just gave the defensive coaches the feel of how GB was going play on offense That's why the adjustments happened so quickly and the defense was able to shutdown the Packers after that. Masterful defensive performance from coaches to players yesterday.
Well damn I think he gone now. Good for him.

maybe he will suck in the interview process or won't be able to come prepared.

That's just sad throwing bad vibes on a grown man trying to better his career.

It's a joke

Lol if you think vibes exist on the internet. This team would be 0-17 if vibes existed with our fans.

It wouldn't be for the better of his career unless it's the right situation. Don't just take any hc job. He's got a bright future and should be patient for the right team.

Nope.

Not when they absolutely needed it. 2021 had better run D. 2019 had better pass D but they had Pro Bowl Sherman and Moseley. 2021 D is more clutch.
Exponential growth. I hope he stays on a couple more seasons and helps groom us a replacement.
On DeMeco, I wonder how much of a presentation he can put together. Had to pull double duty this week. There are A LOT of vacancies, but hopefully we can hang on for one more year. Give him the opportunity to grow more as a playcaller as well as gather potential guys for a staff. I will say there are a lot worse situations than Minnesota.

49ers have a Kubiak on the defensive staff, hopefully he could be just like his dad but great on defense.

I have always wondered - does it hurt their focus on game planning or give even extra motivation to shine in the upcoming game.

suppose it could be both.

Let's hope he doesn't care about being a HC, and wants to just be a DC, like Dick LeBeau.

You would think the Texans give Ryans an interview, he was a fan favorite in Houston from what I could gather. But whatever, I hope he doesn't go anywhere for awhile.
