I think if we package Jimmy, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a third-round pick I think that's a trade they would accept.

I think they'd probably want one of our young players, too.

Jalen Hurd, done

You tell them to piss off then...

I can see them wanting Deebo or Aiyuk.

And you tell them to piss off...we don't want to send our players to that horribly run organization.

Most of this trades are for draft picks not really players

Yeah, no way you give up those guys.

Jimmy has a no trade clause for this season. there's no way he's going to sign off on a trade to that dysfunctional team. it doesn't matter what the Texans or ShannyLynch would do.

I agree with that (unless he loves whomever is the HC) he gets cut and makes much less money on the open market though....

better than being in the s**t show that TEX has quickly become. no doubt Bill would offer him something fair in NE.

Agreed, but evasion isn't a sure bet.

Still would want to get him protection in the coming years, don't want him eating hits when he slows a little a la Wilson.

Not a sure bet but a pretty damn safe one. The guy led the league in passing last year (not to mention the other years he has balled out) behind THAT OL.

There isn't even a hint that shanahan is interested in watson. Everyone is simply speculating at this point. We all speculated that antonio brown was going to be a niner also. I'd put watson coming here at about 3 percent.
Niners are not giving up any of their core pieces for Watson. Atleast they shouldn't. Especially when they got to give 1st round picks on top of that. They can have Jimmy, That's about it when it comes to players being moved.

Too many other options than to go after Watson. Keeping Jimmy and drafting a Qb at #12 is probably the best way to go.

Only if the qb they covet is there. I don't want a major reach. If not there, pick bpa.

If Lance is gone then I'd go BPA.

Because that would be tampering

He makes more money that way, if not he can get cut and i dont think he gets near the money he is going to get if traded

Jimmy is not going to give up the last two years of his contract. He'll waive his no-trade clause and get his money with the Texans.

Webzone article is saying we've got third best odds to have him next season. Best odds: Houston, second best: dolphins.

My only thought...why would Houston ever send him to the AFC?
