The few reports I saw said that Watson was basically an immature ass and made them feel uncomfortable and found ways to touch them with his mini-watson. Not at all surprising that it would start in civil court. With a big group of accusers, it is probably the most effective way of ensuring everything on the criminal side is handled in your clients' best interest. If it had been one or two people it would be a different story. It is hard to look at dozens of women and dismiss all of them as gold diggers particularly when this happened over a pretty short period of time. By "this happened" I mean he got lots of massages by random women.

The lawyer has already said they are preparing packages to submit to Houston PD in these cases for the women willing to do it.

And that same lawyer also said in his conference that HPD already contacted him, only for HPD to come back and say it didn't happen.

I know you aren't arguing with me but even if that is *all* that happened he is done. Nobody likes a serial predator type and this isn't the Duke Lacross team incident.

This is all really just me being relieved that we aren't trading a boat load of picks and players for Watson. The upside for him though is he will almost surely lose less than 12 games this year.

"I'm not saying he's guilty" but you're assuming the reports are true that he met with all these women. As of right now I don't think we even know that to be true. If I'm wrong about that please show me where he's acknowledged it.

What I'm pushing back on is people saying he was in an unnecessary position, he should have had cameras on him, and so on. There's nothing wrong with hiring people to give you a massage. Maybe it's his cover him to sexually assault these women but it's the actions that might be evil not the position he's in being there. You're really expecting people to always videotape themselves? If you don't and someone accuses you of anything you're automatically assumed to be guilty now? That's where I draw the line and giving the benefit of the doubt until more evidence is brought forward.

The biggest thing I've noticed that very little people are talking about is Buzbee's involvement with the Texans. He just said in his press conference that none of this is about the timing (Free Agency), or his relationship with the Texans. He even claimed he doesn't follow them!

I just don't see how this ends well for Deshaun. If you ask me, his reputation has been ruined - right, wrong, or indifferent. The 49ers will never pursue him because of this as we've had our share of stupidity whether true or not - Aldon Smith, Rueben Foster, Dana Stubblefield, etc... The opportunity was there to get him possibly, but that will not happen now. This list of women continues to grow and it's a terrible look. I'm also not condoning the Texans in this either. I believe they knew about this and quite possibly hid it and then when they finally realized he's not coming back, someone leaked all this and then the attorney comes out with his bag of tricks/evidence. In today's environment, you can't trust anyone and I can assure you Watson will learn a lesson in all of this. I wish all parties well in this and hope none of this is true but it just doesn't look good and then combine that with Goodell getting involved... You can bet he will somehow screw this scenario up even more because that's what he does...

I was referencing back to the "if that is all that happened he is done". Saying that if even the most minimal of the accusations is true he is done because it would mean that he is a serial predator type.

I never said he should have had cameras on him and I haven't seen anyone else say anything like that. Maybe someone has but the general argument is that merely by having a random string of women give him massages he was setting himself up for exactly this.

Put another way, it Watson had called you or me and said he was thinking about finding lots of random massage therapists on instagram and inviting them up to his place, and he asked what we thought of the idea... Of course we would tell him it was a terrible idea because a bad outcome is entirely foreseeable.

I'm guessing if he never met some of these women, his people might have mentioned that in one his statements. Seems like a pretty simple way to kill the accusers' credibility if true.

Edit: As far as the lawyer, he wanted Manziel to stay in Texas so he clearly has bad judgement. If he had pull with the McNair's he probably wouldn't have had to buy a billboard to communicate with them.
