If the allegations in these lawsuits are true then this dude kept trying to rub his dick all over these women while they were working. If you consider that just a "brash advance" then you may need to secure the services of a good defense attorney in the near future.

"Watson told Plaintiff: 'I make a lot of massage therapists uncomfortable and it's really hard for me to find someone who will meet my needs".

"[Watson] refused Plaintiff's attempts to cover him. Even when she covered his buttocks, he would purposely move to knock the towel off…As the session continued, Watson exposed his penis to Plaintiff several times. Watson laughingly told Plaintiff that she could move his penis out of the way….Plaintiff felt trapped, angry and dirty…Watson eventually had an erection. Multiple times he moved his body in such a way to make his penis touch Plaintiff…Watson continued to contact Plaintiff afterwards around seven more times to schedule another massage. Plaintiff either declined or ignored his requests and never worked with him again"

"Watson asked Plaintiff if he could be naked, and even asked Plaintiff if it was okay if he got aroused. Plaintiff told Watson to cover himself while she attempted to stay professional and finish the session. At some point during the session, Watson became aroused and got an erection. Watson continued to move his body in a way that would repeatedly cause his penis to touch Plaintiff's hand. Plaintiff was shocked and moved away from him. Lying on the table on his back, Watson then ejaculated. Plaintiff immediately stopped the session and left the room"

This might be a career changing event for DW. With this many people coming out it starting to have a Bill Cosby feel to it.

Does anyone want this guy any more?

Love his QB game on the field. But NO he is a scumbag!

Texans are going to end up not being able to trade him and probably going to end up releasing him.

Agree with this.

People can talk about innocent until proven guilty but one thing he is clearly guilty of is having very poor judgement. Every one of these guys knows that are a potential target for this kind of thing and in particular where any kind of near-intimate contact is involved. The fact that 20 women are in a position to have already come out publicly doesn't mean he is going to jail, but it is a pretty strong indicator this isn't going away anytime soon.

Guilty or innocent it certainly looks like he opened the door to this drama and from a professional standpoint where you are paid for your in-person entertainment value, that can be almost as problematic as being officially guilty.

Edit: Looks like it might "only" be 12 women officially bringing suit so far. Didn't want to be accused of misrepresenting something.

Not sure how that framing helps. It is still a one-way ticket to never playing again.

Let the process play out and see where it goes.

What if it's determined he did nothing wrong? Do we still want NOTHING to do with him? Get real. I would take DW over Jimmy G any day of the week if he's not guilty.

I disagree that majority have already found him guilty. There are also a large chunk of posters who already believe he is innocent.

I completely agree with letting the process play out some more. More clarity is needed and until we know more information, one simply cannot conclude with any sort of certainty which side is truthful and which side isn't.

This is really no different than how members in here condemned Foster the second the news broke. You had 2 sides dug in before any real information was released. Foster was clearly an idiot, but that doesn't make him a woman beater, but some were ready to release him the moment the news came out.

Now you have some members ready to keep Watson away from this team all because of some allegations that aren't even criminal charges. Also, anyone using the amount of accusations against him don't seem to understand that some people will jump at the chance to get FREE MONEY. Even if Watson was inappropriate with a couple women, I guarantee you that a few of these accusations are nothing but money grabs because they literally have little to lose and a TON to gain. This isn't a criminal case, perjury in civil court rarely has any consequences. The most these women have to worry about is a counter suit, which really means nothing to someone who already gives massages out of their home.
Watched Buzbee's press conference. Dude is a smooth operator lol.

I wonder how long people in NFL circles have know this was going to come out...Because if Deshaun wanted a trade this offseason, his agent should have advised him to just pay this dude off. Because Deshaun and his agent's initial strategy of trying to force a trade while letting a bunch of sexual assault allegations fly around is just a dumb strategy.

Having poor judgment doesn't make you a scumbag. If all this turns out to be is just a bunch of money hungry thots is he still a scumbag?

Nice try putting words in my mouth. Why even go there?

I clearly and specifically avoided making a character judgement but you somehow read that into my post?

There's a big difference between an agent trying to get a great contract and a criminal defense attorney trying to keep his client out of prison. Deshaun has plenty of cash to pay for both but should have brought in a defense attorney sooner.

Good point. I wonder if in cases like this the player's lawyer even allows his client to discuss the allegations with his employer beyond a generic denial? Seems hard to fathom a defense attorney being alright with allowing other teams to ask him the questions needing to be answered before a trade. I couldn't care less for the Texans aside from being the butt of an occasional joke, but talk about a team in limbo now.

Massages are fairly mandatory for recovery among NFL athletes though. I'm pretty sure that due to covid he was not allowed to use his regular massage therapist.

^This

While you're innocent until proven guilty... a double-digit number of official allegations and 22+ unofficial allegations is quite a lot.

Let me just put it this way: If Watson somehow, someway gets out of this with a proven innocent verdict, then he instantly deserves the 2021 Comeback Player of the Year award, because any noteworthy man coming out of a dozen plus allegations without any punishment or settlement is unheard of. It's VERY unlikely for there to not be something there at this point. Possible. But extremely unlikely.

The teams have massage therapists that they can use at the facilities.

No team is wanting their guys to cruise the gram for massages.
