Look what Josh Allen did to us with no pass rush? You can have top corners, top linebackers, good run stoppers, but if you have no pass rush the elite QB's will score points at will. With Watson we would have to score a TD on nearly every drive if we played teams with a top 5 QB. Only way to stop Mahomes is not give him time to throw. If I had to include a Defensive star into a Watson deal it would be Warner but it would be a very last resort.
So is 2021 1st and 2nd, 2022 1st and 3rd, 2023 1st and 3rd, Jimmy G, and AA enough for Watson and Watt ?

And if so would you do it ?
2 1sts, 2 2nds, kinlaw, Greenlaw
The Texans can ask all they want but nobody is giving them 2 firsts,2 seconds and two good young starters.

I would do that. Though I would counter with AA instead of Kinlaw because AA is expensive.

I'd rather offer 3 1st rounders, a couple 2nd's and a few conditional picks. That is a heck of a haul and if that isn't enough, well, time to move on, maybe look to move up for a quarterback in the draft. Bring someone in on a cheap rookie contract and hope you evaluated them accurately.

Only young D starter I'd give is AA but try to get them to include Watt, like I said three 1st, two 2nds, one Third with Jimmy G and AA for Watson and Watt. The extra 1st and 3rd should wipe out a young defensive starter.

Josh Allen had 300 yards and 4 TDs against the #1 ranked defense in the NFL this year.

And the Falcons held the Chiefs to only 17 points when they played. Let's not base things off of one game.

They can't take on Armstead's contract. They're in worse cap shape than we are.

I'm not for trading any of our defensive stars, just pointing out that QB is the most important position in pro sports. Brees lit up our Bosa defense with ease and Mahomes carved it up when he got going. Wilson, Murray, and even Goff actually had a good game against our Great defense.

Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, and Shaw Barrett play on the same team in Denver. That's as good as it gets Great Defense but no QB

Akiem Hicks, Roquan smith and Khalil mack, great defense but no QB. I'm just saying.
I believe the typical desperate teams that make huge trades such as the Bears or Washington are going to offer a lot more and wind up with Watson. It sucks because this is the one time we should give up multiple first rounders especially since they're going to be late late first rounders in the 20s or 30s if Watson is playing for us. They will have a lot less value and I hope the front office sees this.
For the 100th time, we can't move AA without taking a substantial cap hit, so you're not just trading AA, you're also sacrificing either one really good player or multiple players to move him.

It's not going to happen.

And we have #12 which is notably higher than #19 and #20. So that gives us a step ahead of them.

The real issue here is if the Dolphins/Jets/Panthers are willing to go all in.
