Interesting. I know Saleh likes his DL thicc, but hopefully, they are smart enough to see that bigger isn't always better.
I did see an interview last season where Dee Ford said he played at 245 lbs. May be beneficial to let Willis get back to his college size. SAME FOR KENTAVIUS STREET.

this was from Barrows a couple days ago...
Willis, who's back down to 263 pounds, also seems ideally suited to line up on the edge on rushing downs in the Wide 9, which had been Ford's role. In fact, during the recent offseason, Willis traveled to Nashville and hired the father of Wide 9, Jim Washburn, as a pass-rush coach. Washburn, of course, is the mentor/father figure to 49ers defensive line coach Kris Kocurek.

Good stuff. Excited to see what Willis can do out there. Anything is better than we've got going.

If this works out, will Lynch be forgiven for drafting Thomas?

If he finishes with 8 sacks and turns out to be Ford's replacement all will be forgiven

Given his speed maybe he is intended to help contain Wilson and Murray.

No, he can never be forgiven for that.

I'm fine with it. No one has seen him on our team yet.

Truth. It's like watching lava move. It'll get there in one mass eventually but it's slow as hell.

27 pages already on a pass rusher with 3 career sacks?
