This guy has been flying up draft boards this year. Good size (6'3"/210). Strong, accurate arm. Moves around really well and throws well on the move. Plays significant snaps under center and is very effective in both the straight play action game and boots (huge for a QB in Kyle's system). Beautiful mechanics but isn't mechanical, he can deliver the ball from many different arm angles as needed for a given throw. He's also effective throwing the ball to all different levels: deep, intermediate, short, and in the screen game. This is the type of QB I could see Lynch & Shanahan falling in love with for Kyle's offense. Andre Ware was gushing over him with the throws he was making and Tom Luginbill was comparing him to Patrick Mahomes with his ability to move around, play off script, and deliver the ball in so many different ways. Weaknesses seem to be that he can be overly aggressive in his decision making both running the ball and pushing the ball downfield when it would be more prudent to check the ball down. And he's struggled with injuries up until this season. After two consecutive sold gains in the run game, this! Play action pass, TE wheel. Carter Wheat hauls in the perfectly thrown ball from Zach Wilson. Carter high points the ball for the TD reception. Great incremental play calling from coaches and execution from players. If you don't understand what was at stake finically for BYU prior to knowing where they currently stood on Tuesday in the CFP I don't know what to tell ya...I've told you multiple times but you either don't understand or refuse to say hey maybe I was wrong or didn't do any research.

Washington was never gonna play BYU (unless they signed a contract first with BYU) it was always gonna be vs Utah and in the PAC12.

IF BYU had a legit chance at a top bowl, they would play a BETTER team and make around $4M (which they don't have to split with any conference).

They will absolutely look for teams to play against the next 2 weeks that are worth playing to get one last play at a top bowl and possibly a playoffs apprentice.

Complaining about a players wearing a headband, without acknowledging anything else is without question not applying context.

Again.. with no BYU excuses.. what does Any Team, Any Time, Any Place mean ?

Does posting stuff like this make you feel good inside? Wilson pretty much cemented himself as a top 10 pick with the film he put out this season, he could easily opt out the rest of the season right now like many others did. Bodily harm can happen against any team.

I would take him over Fields right now. I just hope whoever the 49ers draft in the 1st or 2nd round can be groomed to become our next franchise QB.

It means a player who has no control of anything is willing to play anyone....you think he cares about the financial implications of it? He also has no say NONE in the outcome of what happens. Got an issue write a letter to the athletic director for BYU lol, maybe he can explain it to you better

Again it all comes down to money...before anything. It's the simple truth of college football.

Like I said do some research...Washington would have had to cancel the game with BYU if Utah vs AZ State got canceled, so Washington could play Utah. Which is exactly what happened. Game was never gonna happen.

FWIW they actually had a quality schedule setup before COVID happened.

Is what it is, let's move on

I'm with Steve Young, I understand the lack of competition, but the traits are what stand out to me more than anything. I see 100% what Steve sees when he says he's not so sure Wilson isn't actually the best QB in this entire class.

while the competition wasn't there this last game, i loved what i saw from just his fluidity in the pocket. putting himself in a position to make a good throw when making his reads
