Another UT gem. He was Tennessee offense. Man, I live here.. JJ was all they had. He'll be alright if his work ethic is legit

He could fill a huge void as a big, tough WR who's known for breaking tackles in the SEC. In case you haven't seen it, take a look at this video on him. We all know we just can't count on Hurd...just too injury prone so far. JJ should seize the opportunity to step up and show everyone he's no fluke...when you break as many tackles as he did in the best conference in college football, you've got some good things going for you. This kid could create a lot of trouble for defenses at the slot WR position. I'm rootin' for him.

I've wanted him as our big slot. Just as much if not more than Hurd.
Hope we see him get some run at least in the preseason

Grant Cohn wishes he was skip bayless. Niners still need a tall receiver to go get a ball. Ironic Hurd & JJ are Volunteers and can't find the field? It isn't the best conference btw.

JJ and Hurd going to be OTA and TC superstars. Possibly Preseason All Pros.

Or make the all ACL team

Not the best but they still play top notch teams and both were outstanding in college. Hurd was badass as a RB during his time there and kept Kamara on the bench. JJ's tape is indeed some of the most violent/physical play you will ever see from the WR position both with and without the ball. Think it was Peter King that said Hurd was the best WR on the field his rookie camp, better than Deebo, even pissing defenders off with his run blocking. I know both haven't done s**t in the league yet but the potential is most certainly there, it's too soon to write them off and no reason too with both on rookie deals and I for one am excited to see them when it happens

Grant Cohn is NOT an analyst. He's a beat writer who pretends to be an analyst. Most respected analysts have played or coached the game, or at least studied scheme and technique extensively. He is as qualified to analyze football as any random fan, and probably less than most.

Just a friendly reminder that Hurd is shifty, huge and a tackle breaker and Jennings is huge and broke the most tackles in college at wr his final season. One of these 2 will be wr3 if we don't get Julio

Just dont see how anyone could confidently declare this. If either of these two play a single snap for our team, it will be an improvement/pleasant surprise.

health is an issue, not talent.

"IF" They stay healthy then they will see the field on Sundays

I would argue that talent is an issue for Jennings, but definitely not Hurd. I just dont see how someone could count on one of these two guys. I see them both as added bonuses, that if we get nothing out of them, doesnt hurt us.

Well JJ is healthy and Hurd will probably be by game 1. Both have talent and both break a 💩 load of tackles.
Who needs Julio when we have Hurd and Jauan??
