Boy you guys are more sensitive than a chics nipples. I didn't say the guy was trash. He just didn't make any plays. Guys don't make plays every week. You would think that was known knowledge on a football forum.

Yea just didn't make any plays.
He helped take on blockers in the run D and did a solid job. Just didnt have any flashy plays.
ill take that every sunday
Awesome against the run. Little to NO DROPOFF from DJ Jones. I'll take that even if it's pick 14 in the first round. Especially if he can get at least 2.5 sacks (that's what Jones had)
Yeah, he had 43 of 67 snaps last week in a monsoon coming in off a knee surgery. He might have even more this week. 1T baby. It's an important position.

He did his job, very well. The analysis you gave was pure stat sheet watching. DJ Jones was highly effective last year, even in those games he didn't show up on the stat sheet. I doubt you'd go to a DJ thread last year just to say he didn't make any plays. It was a poor take after a dominant performance in our run D, which people thought would fall off.

I saw his name a couple times through the first half, but I don't remember seeing him once In the 2nd hand... Huge disappointment for someone who was drafted 15th overall.

If he was drafted 16th it would be ok?

Javon Kinlaw knocks it down, and the 2 point try is no good. One point game #FTTB #BroncosCountry pic.twitter.com/rdxZvegCM2

He's playing like a late round rookie, so definitely not.

Thanks. I actually missed a few plays here and there due to crappy stream.
. I also remember him coming close to sacking Wilson. So, not all bad, but you'd expect more from a first round pick

Kinlaw is like a mini-DJ Jones, and the problem is the draft slot. You take a run stuffer DI in the later rounds, not 15th overall. Now, I thought he could be more of an all-around player and hence wanted us to draft him.... but he really isn't. This is a passing league and you better be a refined pass rusher to be taken 15th overall as a dlineman. Yeah not everyone can be Aaron Donald or Chris Jones, but as much as I want to like Kinlaw, this was a bad value pick

Kinlaw, or anyone on defense is the least of our worries right now.
