Outside of Nick Bosa and maybe Warner or/and Jimmie Ward, I think Kinlaw is the most important (valuable) player on our defense. He is the key to our run defense and if he's out, our run D is in trouble
and at that point so will our defense as a whole.

Kinlaw, if healthy is our best run defender and our best "two-gapper" meaning he's our best guy at eating up space and taking on 2+ blockers. And the big concern and what makes Him so Valuable, with D.J Jones gone, we really don't have another 300+ pd big time run stuffer on the team. Kinlaw goes down and we will have issues stopping the run.

As deep as this D-Line is, we really don't have a guy like Kinlaw with his size and run stopping and two gapping abilities on the team other than Kinlaw. I like Kevin Givens and he's a solid backup who plays the run well and has improved every season but he's limited to what he is or cam become at 6'1" with short arms.

Umm, there's still pregame warmups.
Sunday is where we begin to see if Kinlaw is a bust or a cornerstone of the franchise.

We know that injuries thread is just itching to be bumped.

God I can't wait to see 99 lay down the Law! If for no other reason of once more exposing Grant Cohn for the click bait hack that he is. Saying he would relish retirement from Kinlaw smacking him . Who says that s**t. Javon may have lost control a little during their confrontation but he was definitely saying s**t that had to be said. Grant throwing up the "bust" line like it ain't nothing to a player known to be raw just isn't cool. Javons mind and most certainly body have visibly matured leaps and bounds in his rehab. now if he can go out and get 6-10 sacks AND stop the run were talking about the best line in the NFL, if Drake steps up as well we're in the conversation of best all time.

Kinlaw at 6'5 and Armstead at 6'7 has to be the tallest DT tandem in the NFL. Block party.

I think our entire DL group is--as scouts say--the best looking group off the bus.

Except Samson Ebukam. Visually, he totally doesn't fit in with the rest of our guys.
Every time I see Javon Kinlaw's name I immediately think bad/arthritic knees :( I really hope he turns a corner this season and we never hear about his bad knees again.
