Not sure who you're referring to, but Cohn absolutely deserves criticism for pushing his narrative on Kinlaw so hard to just make money. Jimmy deserve criticism for making more money than he earned. I don't believe Kinlaw, Ford, or even Hurd deserved the criticism they received, as injuries are not exactly under their control.
Oh, please. That is one of the stupidest things I've seen in here for awhile. And that's really saying something.

Leave Jimmy alone 😭

It's almost fun at this point.

The money he is set to make is one of the factors holding up a trade. No team in the league believes he is worth that much, and any trade partner would ask us to pay a portion of it. So go ahead and explain why that take is wrong, smarty pants.

Oh, okay brainiac, please share with us how you KNOW that "no team in the league believes he's worth that much". SMDH. I can't wait to hear your pretzel logic on this one.

Well, because no team is trading for him with that salary. It's really simple. Any teams with interest have said they would ask the Niners to pay part of that salary. Proof enough that they don't feel he's worth it. Now, how about you prove me wrong? Even the Niners, who owe him that money, are unwilling to pay it. So please, find me a team that says he is worth that money. His skill set put him somewhere between bottom of the league as a starting quarterback, or top of the league as a back up. Find me one of those players in that slot making the money that he is slated to make.

In the time he's been here he's helped the team get to a winning record when he's played and helped to bring it back to relevancy. In the two years that he was healthy enough to finish the season he helped get the team to two NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl. How is that not worth his contract? Does that mean they should pay him this year, of course not. They have made the decision to go with Lance and there are other things they could use his salary for which is all good. But if someone said, we are going to give you a QB who will help get you to a winning record and two NFC Championship game for a second round draft pick, everyone in here would have jumped at that.

It sucks that the team couldn't close the deal against KC and quote frankly, they didn't deserve to get even as far as they did last year, but in the end got it done and made a pretty good run, and Jimmy was a part of that, just as he was a part of some of the ugly losses. It's a team sport and that's the way it goes sometimes. As for his contract. It's not his fault the team chose to pay him what they did. If you did a half a year of good work at your jobs and the bosses came to you and said, "Oh, boy, we're really impressed with your last six months of work, here's a bunch of money." I'm pretty sure you wouldn't say, "Oh, no. I'm not worth that. It was the other guys in the department that were carrying the load. You should really split the money up between them". As I have said in the past, all of this endless bashing is just petty and pathetic. You should just own up to it and quit pretending that you have some kind of monopoly on the "truth" of the situation.

Calm down sparky. Buckner was one of our very best players, heart and soul of the defense and one of our foundation pieces esp. as a leader.

I'm not sure if Kinlaw is a family member for you but let's just get him through a full practice first where he's actually doing football activities and not dancing and chasing journalists down on the other side of the field to intimidate them.

Baby steps.

Actually he might be *better* than Buckner.

Nah. He also doesn't have to be Buck.

OK, Warren Sapp then!

While we're all just throwing out ridiculous statements, I am proclaiming myself better than Buckner. Give me the bag, Lynch.

Imagine if you would be paid like Buckner, that'd be the last we see of you.

This discussion started with you simply taking one line out of my post and doing the exact same thing. Then backing that one line up. So stop it man. You're getting nowhere.
