before all this drama everyone knew Cohn was a clickbait hack journalist.
Now drama stirs up and naturally people just chose sides but not because one is right or wrong..but because statically someone can be having a bad day feel like the underdog walk into this thread and see the majority supporting one side and sympathetize with cohn and suddenly they find a reason to support the other side.
At the end of the day whatever kin law did… Cohn character which is always evident in his post reflect that he's a douche by hoping that he wants to make millions by having Kinlaw "touch him".
end of discussion
pretty much...I will say the only guys that are really defending Grant are the ones that actually think he's good at his job and defended him in the past.
Those people exist?!? Lol 😂

My only issue is that everyone acts like you have to pick sides on this. If you criticize Kinlaw that means you support Grant. That's BS to me. If it's political or football or race or anything people act like you have 1 of 2 options.
Any nuanced answers means you'll be hated by both sides.
I don't like what Kinlaw did but I certainly don't have any sympathy for Grant. I was one of the first people back in the day to push for Grants "reporting" to be removed from this website.
That's how It normally Is on here Tbh. Any criticism aimed at coaches/players and you are labelled a hater, ect. We all know that Grant Is a troll who says things to get a reaction from fans and the players alike, but that doesn't excuse what kinlaw did either.

None of it was true. Just a bunch of subjective takes. Saying a guy on a rookie contract is a bust isn't 'true'. He may indeed be a bust.. but he may also have a breakout season this year..
Imo 'reporters' shouldn't be speculating and throwing out their bs opinions. That's our job.
he said kinlaw has bad knees and the 49ers shouldnt have drafted him
Other reporters say the same thing about him as well
He's on the 3rd year on his rookie deal and he played like crap when he's on the field
He didn't play like a crap at all. He's been no worse than solid so far.
Grant also goes on lists several players who in his opinion are better players than Kinlaw as if they're fact.

Imagine if Grant broke both hands and could no longer write. He had to work 24/7 for months to learn how to use his hands again so that he could write and do his job to provide for his family. And the whole time some1 w/influence kept saying he's s**tty cuz hes hurt & shud retire

I pretty much agree with this dude
Do I agree with the way Kinlaw expressed his frustrations? No.

Do I understand why he acted the way he did? Yes.
Will I ever take the side of an attention-seeking entertainment writer over a player who risks their body and livelihood every single day? No.

I'll always support a player over some ridiculous hot take artist. It's one thing if a player gets into it with an actual journalist like Maiocco, Kawakami, Peter King or Jay Glazer. These folks have a job to do too and don't deserve to be harassed over it.
But Cohn? Guys like him are the types that shouldn't be allowed inside any team facility. They aren't making an attempt at well-intentioned professional sports journalism, they are trolling for reaction and will say/write anything to make it happen. Give Cohn the boot and watch him quickly fade into irrelevance.

Yup. Sounds like you support Grant. /s
I thought some posters on here understood that idea. But with this incident I've learned that number of people who "get it" is very very small.

Yea - it's stupid to call him soft or can't handle criticism - or should behave a certain way. I'm sorry - players don't have to handle these things. Fans and media for too long say anything and everything about players. What have you done in your life? He's making millions bc of his ability - you're slandering ppl to get some hits on youtube.
And I am saying - even if Kinlaw was a son of a former player and lived in a big house and had access to everything in life - don't tell another man you don't know how he should react or behave. He didn't physically hurt anyone. He's just talking.
imo looks like - ppl criticizing Kinlaw are the one who can't handle a player speaking out.
Its telling that you have some defending a no talent hack like Cohn who does nothing but run players down and produces nothing of value over a player that finally got tired of his s**t.
The 49ers should yank Cohn's credentials the same way the Jets did to Manish Mehta when he became a constant disruption. Let Cohn run his troll act without the benefit of team access.
Yes, pull grants credentials, hahahahaha.
then we end up with the Sacramento kings beat writers where EVERYONE is a company guy. The team is always right and no one ever questions them. That would be AWESOME.
Maiocco and Barrows aren't company guys and question the coaches and FO.
That's because they didn't get a forum because of nepotism.
