None of it was true. Just a bunch of subjective takes. Saying a guy on a rookie contract is a bust isn't 'true'. He may indeed be a bust.. but he may also have a breakout season this year..

Imo 'reporters' shouldn't be speculating and throwing out their bs opinions. That's our job.

This makes it even more asinine to even get caught up in that web.

There is no secret here. You got played and you played yourself publicly now and now THIS is what your fans are talking about and what 49ers PR and John need to deal with.

What's funny is I really don't like grant at all. But he is entertaining. And I'm not gonna lie about someone just cause I don't like him.

No one is lying about what Grant is.

It's about time players call these mfs out. I respect Kinlaw more today. Good for him. I can't stand ppl who make a career out of obsessively hating players. If as a reporter you can't behave professionally then you have no right to whine when players don't live up to that standard. It was about damn time - Grant got what he deserved.

grant talked about him on the field..and on the field his play is awful
kinlaw is butthurt because its true

Kind of like all the speculation on trey lance?

thank god kinlaw isn't enduring what trey is going through.

Apparently daddy Cohn is a coward like his son Nancy and did nothing but just retweeted Nancy's YouTube video of him whining about the incident 🤣 LIKE FATHER LIKE SON HAHAHAHA!!!!

Not everyone has to follow that and there are different ways to handle things correctly. Everyone is different - stop putting players in a box and tell them how they should behave.

Thought KP said it perfectly (another fellow "reporter")

This is very poignant, and I'm surprised no one else has quoted it, it explains a great deal of what happened yesterday.

Kinlaw, and others who have followed from similar backgrounds, could use all of that pain to drive an amazing career, or it could consume him.

I just don't think risks like that should be taken with 1st round picks.

I'm rooting for the guy, and IMO you aren't a fan if you don't, but I wouldn't have drafted him in the 1st round.

Dmax: When are u gonna own the fact that he stated he wanted a payday? So him hoping an nfl player touches him because he trolls is a truth according to u?

well I guess that makes sense.
some people just have no character

Fans and media for too long say anything and everything about players. What have you done in your life? He's making millions bc of his ability - you're slandering ppl to get some hits on youtube.

And I am saying - even if Kinlaw was a son of a former player and lived in a big house and had access to everything in life - don't tell another man you don't know how he should react or behave. He didn't physically hurt anyone. He's just talking.

imo looks like - ppl criticizing Kinlaw are the one who can't handle a player speaking out.

Its telling that you have some defending a no talent hack like Cohn who does nothing but run players down and produces nothing of value over a player that finally got tired of his s**t.

The 49ers should yank Cohn's credentials the same way the Jets did to Manish Mehta when he became a constant disruption. Let Cohn run his troll act without the benefit of team access.

Yes, pull grants credentials, hahahahaha.

then we end up with the Sacramento kings beat writers where EVERYONE is a company guy. The team is always right and no one ever questions them. That would be AWESOME.

Maiocco and Barrows aren't company guys and question the coaches and FO.

Lol. Are you new here?
Man, that was a lose-lose. I can't stand Grant Cohn, but Kinlaw made a complete ass out of himself in the process. So inarticulate, spitting his food out as he repeats the same invective over and over. Dude seemed stoned. Cohn sucks and probably is lapping up all of the attention and clicks he's getting. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. And Kinlaw needs to strap it up and play some ball, or he can take that trash with him out of town. What a bad look all around.

My only issue is that everyone acts like you have to pick sides on this. If you criticize Kinlaw that means you support Grant. That's BS to me. If it's political or football or race or anything people act like you have 1 of 2 options.

Any nuanced answers means you'll be hated by both sides.

I don't like what Kinlaw did but I certainly don't have any sympathy for Grant. I was one of the first people back in the day to push for Grants "reporting" to be removed from this website.

he said kinlaw has bad knees and the 49ers shouldnt have drafted him
Other reporters say the same thing about him as well
He's on the 3rd year on his rookie deal and he played like crap when he's on the field
