You should restart your poll the Pats are out and 42% voted for them
i bet the colts now
i have a feeling that is why ballard went a different way and signed DeFo
he'll sign Brady for 2 years with a 3rd year option 70M$ guaranteed

How is Tampa Bay better for him? I just don't get it. Also is there any truth to the rumor the 49ers were his first choice? Other than media speculation that is. What was it based on?
It was his favorite team growing up.

I understand that they didn't want 42 - 43 year old Tom Brady. And it's real that is a risk. He may not stay healthy. Also Jimmy G. gets way too much blame. He is a pretty decent QB albeit maybe not great. But the defensive collapse, horrible coaching calls (not running the ball and running the clock) played a huge, huge part in that Super Bowl loss. If the defense doesn't fold and Shanahan doesn't fold we may be calling Jimmy G. Super Bowl Champion right now. That's what people aren't getting.

All that said if he really had strong interest to come here I would at least have given it a long, long look and not dismiss it. If he could put together 1 - 2 years and stay healthy maybe that would have been worth it. Who knows? We will never know.

Lol will be interesting to see how he does with those weapons though.
Guess that Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Tom Brady game is gonna have to wait until at least 2021, or more likely 2022 (since 49ers and Bucs would need to finish at the same place in their divisions to play in 2021). With Brady's age that's no guarantee to happen, either. Makes the 49ers vs. Patriots game in 2020 a little less interesting.

I don't see any reporting on this at all the major sports networks.

Gonna wait and see....

He'll announce tomorrow
Tampa Bay is the last place I thought he'd go. Is anyone besides Colin Cowherd reporting this? I can't stand that guy.

Not that I have seen. Might be a case of nobody else wanting to steal TB12's thunder given he has never been a FA before and probably won't again. Dude should be allowed to make his own announcement if that's what he wants, he has earned that much in the league.

Hope he doesn't pick Tampa just so Cowherd looks like an ass.

Or the playoffs...
Man, going to the team with the second-longest playoff streak. Talk about an opportunity to prove you can do it without Bill

I don't think its that bad of a fit. Arians is a really good coach so I'm sure he'll fine tune his offense to Brady. He certainly isn't going to lack for targets and OJ Howard and Cameron Brate are both likely to see a considerable amount of work next season.
