I am sure the Saints think they can use him this year, and maybe the future too. Kwon is a great dude, and an above avg linebacker if he can ever stay healthy.

He can only do so much. We have struck gold with some picks lately and their paydays are on the horizon. Plus we have had some bad contracts (Ford, Ward)

I think he's just overrated here. Lots of people want to give him credit for fixing the cap after Harbs left but that IMO had more to do with the mass retirements than anything Paarag did.

When the cap is expected to decrease for next season, there's only so much maneuvering that can be done. Odds are good that the Saints cut Kwon after the season is over and this is just a rental for them.
