he can refuse to sign a long term deal with that team though. No trade will happen unless Deebo agrees to an extension with the new team

Who knows what to believe but I did get the feeling they were letting deebo find a trade partner.

I will say this, IF the jets make such an crazy offer it better be where we ALL are like...

damn....I love deebo but ok let's see what we can do here lol

For me that would have to be 10, 35 and their 2023 1. It simply has to blow us away.

Yea. Giving up what they are going to have to give up. The Jets have to be 100% sure Deebo is going to sign that extension. You best believe it.

I don't think he's going to all this trouble to play for 4mil this season. He going to get offer a big contract, I don't think he'll pass imo.

He doesn't have to agree to anything, he's still under contract for this upcoming season. The 49ers control his rights.

If anything, the other team would back out because they're not going to give up that much for a one year rental.

Deebo has no leverage to block a trade. He doesn't have a no trade clause.

Doing something like that will also sour his reputation with other teams.

No team is going to give up a bounty of capital to trade for a guy they can't sign to a long term deal. Any trade will be contingent on Deebo agreeing to a new deal.

I can sleep easy if he goes to the jets. That is a long suffering fan base. And if we get the motherload it will soften the lance trade so so much.

and if there is a team stupid enough to do it, it's the jets.
