He's a very intriguing prospect...has great footwork and is a good route-runner. Is a YAC machine with some good hands. He dealt with poor QB play and some injuries.

He'll most likely play two more seasons with the 9ers before being traded through 2024 off-season. I don't see him being extended at any point unfortunately.

We aren't trading Deebo.

Even OUR owners & front office folks know if they trade Deebo after trading Buckner that the new message is "We do not reward effort & hard work" and that would be a bad look. Especially after rewarding Jimmy G after only a few games and having to replace him before his contract expired.

Free agent players are looking at this stuff.

Not to mention the draft is pretty weak this year.

This this and this..... The 49ers and fans don't want to trade him. Deebo wants out and if there is no possible way of fixing it you have to trade him. Rather it is this year or he holds out next year if he wants out he will get out eventually.

I think most fans want him to stay but understand that he might be gone and accept that possibility

Obviously it's Deebo who has requested the trade, and not the FO/fans Wanting to trade him. I didn't say they Want to do it.

You give him an offer he can't refuse and he's happily signing. That's my point. You do what you have to do to fix whatever caused this tension, and get the man his extension. Prior to all this drama, Samuel seemed to have a great relationship with Lynch and Shanahan. So you would think they would be able to make amends. Money talks

I hope it is fixable. If there is any way to fix it then you don't trade him. If it is purely money you make it work. If he does get traded you can't really get mad at the front office if they are willing to pay which it seems like they are
