I get the situation is much different because we're talking about moving a player for picks vs going up and getting a player, imo I'd rather know well in advance that I was getting those picks and having time to wheel and deal those picks & have more time to interview these guys at the top…as far as we know that hasn't happened at all.

However, let's say this is a negotiation tactic. If Deebo says he wants a trade, but doesn't actually show that, the 49ers will just call his bluff. Doing things like he's done on his social media would be an attempt to show the team that he's serious.
The fact that the same agent represents Brown in Tennessee and something similar is playing out there leads me to believe it's being directed by the agent.
