And I don't believe he actually wants out. It's a negotiating tactic used multiple times by agents to try and maximize their clients contracts. Players do not have much control so they have to sink to different strategies to get it done. Fans are quick to forgive

Point is with Deebo it's different. We need to know if he's willing to sign a real deal or not. The draft is fast approaching. Deebo commands heavy draft compensation via trade in ways that Robbie Gould and Mostert don't. Per league sources like Schefter money isn't the issue. We are offering the blank check. That's his comment that SF is willing to pay the man, today, tomorrow, the next day. If Deebo won't sign a Hill / Adams type offer then what are we doing here? I don't want him skipping every offseason activity that is not required or going through the motions cuz he's not having his trade request honored. If he won't sign and it's not a dollars issue and he wants to be out of town let's honor it, get major draft comp, move on.
