If I was the 9ers I would make deebo wait till Jimmy G is gone then offer him a 3 year deal worth 75M max and 44M guaranteed and for the last year he can be cut without any money or cap issues. Doubt any other team would offer more money at this point + at least 2 first round picks for him, if there are any, they are stupid and taking a huge risk.
If he can prove his longevity and production after 2 years then he can be extended/signed to more money and a bigger deal, otherwise ANY team is taking a huge risk on him.

do you think deebo and kyle have had these types of discussions behind closed doors. i just have more faith in kyle getting this resolved with deebo instead of lynch.
If its really not money then I would imagine those two could work it out.
If it's about $ then pay him. He is a legit playmaker for the next 3 years. Make him the #1 paid WR in the league for three years. He will want more than just three years so compensate him enough that he can look past the short 3 year deal. This one of the advantages of having a cheap QB.

THIS x 1000
Exactly. Last year was out of necessity because Jimmy never throws deep. Trey has a cannon and will test Safeties deep. We don't need Deebo to be a RB

10, 38 an Moore or don't bother to call
That may be enough, although I think I'd turn that 10 to 4 and add a pick (in what we pay).

Doubt ANY team will pay him more than 25M+ a year. I was thinking 28M max but how he is acting and he has only proven it for 1 year + his physical style, he's really only worth 25M max if that and 3 years max with the last year having zero guarantees. If he can prove his longevity and production for 2 more years then he's up for a bigger contract, otherwise a huge risk aka at this point in his NFL career, he is not tyreek Hill or davante adams.

Why make him the highest paid WR for the next 3 years? He's under contract next year. We can tag him the following year. Let him walk after that. That's 2 years vs 3, but we don't break the bank, have a couple more years to sort out his replacement.

I think they will work it out now. I don't think SF is dumb enough to let Deebo go. Kyle knows how important he is. He will get his well deserved money and all will be well.

Exactly! In fact Deebo just took over Jeff Wilson's role from the previous year(the RB portion anyway) he is way more replaceable than some think.
GREAT player but replaceable
You are out of your mind. Wilson Y/A: 3.7. Deebo Y/A: 6.2.
3rd and 7 in the fourth quarter of a playoff game, with a win depending on converting, they aren't handing the ball to Jeff Wilson.

from that reaction, i believe there's definitely something to Schefter's take.
Agree with this. And for the whole him wanting to be closer to his newborn, ummm it's not as if he can't move his baby mama and daughter to Cali with him. I only see this whole thing getting more and more ugly, we should just trade him right now at his highest value
i hate the distraction. hate it.. but geez. we are willing to let the jimmy thing play out. seems to me deebo is more important here and you just do not want to dump today after lunch?
I mean I don't think anyone (fans) wants this, but Deebo does. The Jimmy thing isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison, there was no market for him and there absolutely is for Deebo.

without deebo maybe we never would have went to the super bowl that year. he was very very very good.. last year without him.. we never would have came as close as we did. 2019 is then. this is now
He scrubbed the 49ers off his social media and demanded a trade. He does not want to be here. Playing here is not a right it's an honor.
You know what? I'm from the old school. I would rather play with 10 men and just get penalized all the way if I know that someone in their heart isn't sold out on being a member of this football team. Cannot play with em. Cannot coach with em. Cannot win with em. Can't do it.
I WANT WINNERS.

It might have born out of necessity but it's here to stay according to KS. Both him and Deebo have previously commented on doing more of it going forward. Doesn't sound like they want to give him more carries but they doesn't sound like they want to lower it either.

Not for 25M+ and at least 2 1st round picks. That's why all those bored reporters are yapping for nothing.
