I am a fan of Deebo but I am a bigger fan of the 49ers. He don't want to be part of this team than f him. Trade him to the Lions or Jaguars.

Or just wait and see how it plays out….end of the day it's about cash and I don't care what Rapoport & Co say. He wants more money, especially if he's gonna be used as a wide back.

is there a team out there that's gonna pay him Hill money? A trade request could backfire if there isn't a team willing to do that.
He was offered top 5 money after one year of elite production that could arguably only be attained in our offense. If you are calling that lowballing the man you are f**king crazy.

Until we know the truth it's hard to say. What are we actually offering etc etc.

I also don't think he was going to be running the ball nearly as much next season anyways. Kyle isn't dumb and the offense will be very different under Lance anyways.

We will obviously speculate all this regardless lol. imo he wants more money. I do have a feeling we are lowballing him.

I agree...call his damn bluff....send his @$$ packing to Detroit, Houston, or another floundering organization. Tired of his drama and BS. His agent can kiss my @$$ too as I think he's the catalyst behind all this.

I mean I get it. But we don't know the truth yet. It's probably money. It always is. Until we know the details how can we judge?

He was overused in the backfield. If he had a convo with the FO and asked that workload be reduced in the future and they balked, Im not mad at him for wanting to be overcompensated. Should he be paid top non QB money, no, but if he can get it, more power to him, just not here tho. Takin out the backfield and paid just above or at Diggs money is fair imo.

Whatever we get, I hope they dont blow those picks, and please dont play hardball n make him stay 2 years. Just move on, no need for any more bs distractions if he absolutely wont come back to the table. It was fun while it lasted, I wish him luck.

You certainly can't put a contractual limit on how many carries he gets, because that would be strategic and tactical suicide. The best you can do is a gentleman's agreement where he won't be used extensively in that role except in playoffs or games with playoff implications, but that really doesn't hold any water. He is what he is, and what he is is a dynamic player who can electrify the run and pass game. If he's going to be paid for being elite, that is what he's elite at.

Just listening to Chris Biderman/Nick Wagner this AM what they think is going on is Deebo's idea of being a "wide back" means he should get top 3 WR cash AND more because of that RB value. SF believes he's a good not elite WR that has real value as a RB on top of it. They view that contact as looking at the top RBs and top 10ish WRs and finding a sweet spot.

Not sure what "lowballing" would be in this situation? For the sake of argument using APY (which is stupid) I'm guessing they're at around $20M vs Deebo wanting $25M, also it's April vs July and negotiations are still pretty early in the process. I think his agent is trying to expedite the process because he has two other elite WRs waiting in the wings.

I just don't buy the usage crap...it's part of what separates him from other WRs. He's a good not great route runner, he's not separating like Adams/Diggs or Allen. That's not his overall game and fine. He's a YAC monster and culture builder in a locker room. I think Kyle and Deebo are a match made in heaven and he needs to realize that.

You got a link for that? I haven't seen any reports saying what he was offered.

I'd take all those minus the Colts. Packers giving Amari Rodgers, Elgton Jenkins, 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick is pretty nice too. Jenkins is a stud.

This could be true but after pulling this s**t can we trust him to not create more drama down the road? I get being upset with s**tty fans but doing this he managed to sour his look with the fans that love him.

That's what I think. We offer 20, but he wants 25. I recall everyone saying 25 is reasonable given his value to the team. We won't go there because??? He could get hurt? Lol

We drafted him. He's a Niner and a leader on team. Make sure he remains a Niner. There's really no reason if it's in fact 25m. If this is the case I'm team deebo.

If he signs his extension and goes and plays like he did last yr...not a single fan will give a crap about what happened over the course of a two month contract debate.

Now I'm not comparing him to Kobe Bryant or LBJ but at one point Kobe asked for a trade and end of the day I'd say the Lakers fans still love him lol. LBJ made a huge spectacle about leaving the Cavs only to come back and win a title years later. I'd say their fans are good with him. Looking at football, Rogers was requesting trades all last yr, he was almost a 49er. resigned with GB and I bet their fans are fine with all of it now.

Is what it is....players especially in the NFL have little leverage on contract stuff unless they're an elite QB. Dude can't even hold out in TC without losing an accrued season. It's about the cash and fans need to realize that.

Yeah I'm sure it's more about the FGTD cash...you can fluff up a contract to make it $25M per and it not actually being.

I'm pro-player most of the time in these situations. Go get your bag. Dude sets the tone of a game and is what the 49ers want to be. If he get's traded up not gonna be mad at him, I'm not gonna be mad at the organization either. IMO this is a hard situation but hopefully cooler heads will prevail and they get something done.
