Agreed, and I don't want him in the NFC, plus give him the least attractive QB and scenario in the AFC. So the Jets !

Jimmy needs a home first so we know where to send him.

I would Not even mind sending Jimmy to Seattle. Fred Warner would be his number one receiver

It's funny cause it's true

Maybe Christian Watson could be that Kuminga with those sexy measurables

I like Watson. But he has drop issues just like Deebo
"hey Deebo, see your agent wants Adams / Hill money, we've traded you to the Giants" would be hilarious.

I don't want it to come to that obviously. I love Deebo, I do.

I'm just not so keen on his agent who seems to be leaking anything and everything to the media to get a good payout for himself.

Careful what you wish for.
I wouldn't say no to Toney, Ojulari and 2-3 picks (one a first rounder)...?
for those saying they didn't pay Buckner (they couldn't and re-sign Ward, Armstead and others because there is a salary cap) or Deebo (when every indication is they are very willing to make him paid like approx the 5th best receiver in the league, that's very good money).

They paid Kittle.

They paid Warner.

They paid JImmy G.

They paid Jusz (twice).

They paid Ford (eww).

They paid Armstead.

They paid Ward.

They paid the new Ward.

The idea that this happening because the 49ers are a "cheap franchise" or something is utter nonsense. Especially when it's for their own (ie players the team have drafted).

The agent is using the media to try to negotiate a huge deal, playing hard ball. To say things he won't say to the team, it happens...it may happen so much the agent convinces Deebo he is worth too much, in which case the team will trade him.

Which also happens.

So you want him to get paid like that when he's refusing to play Wide back? Especially when he has the drop issues? I don't know if you knew but he led the league in the first half of the season in drops and I'm guessing he was probably in the top five by the end of the season
There are criticisms you can level at Jed Yorke for things - probably not as many as you think - but the idea that he is cheap or has proven himself cheap is a nonsense narrative.

Even with what he is prepared to pay coaches and more besides.

which would you take ?

Those deals all look a bit too rich to me.

I said they were prepared to (analysing underneath a load of media smokescreen out there) but if you are asking would I pay him in the $19-24m range ?

Yeah, I think he is a top 5/10 wr. I think he is amazing, he may have drops but his ability to take a short/mid route for long yards (yac/rac) is astonishing and his run blocking is out of this world, in a Shanahan offense that's very important. I think that's why he was pissed at Aiyuk (but that's just a guess). I also think Deebo would have been running the ball a lot less this upcoming season, especially now that the team have a level of more trust in Sermon (slightly) / Mitchell (certainly) and with an indication they think Lance can stretch the field more.

And regarding Bosa : worth way more then Deebo because the position - and scarcity of top talent at the position - suggests he is (that's a capitalist principle there). They need to get Bosa done and that one has always worried me.

That may be why Deebo is traded - the deal just goes too high and the agent asks for too much from the NIners knowing some other team will overpay because they have other roster considerations, more cap etc - as looked like the case with Buckner (which broke my heart but that's football for ya).

If it becomes a choice beween keeping Bosa and keeping Deebo (and it isn't that yet though both are obviously goign to be expensive) my bet is Bosa will win.

I don't understand how offering him $22 Million per year with around $50 Million guaranteed is considered low balling him. He deserves to ask for more but that is alot of money for a WR that is getting his 1st contract after his rookie deal. Remember that with Hill, Adams, and Diggs this is their 2nd contract after their rookie deal. How much did they get after their rookie deal? Trent Williams a 1st ballot hall of famer, the best LT in Football, A generational talent, got $23 Million. Kittle is getting around $15 Million and Deebo would be getting about $7 Million more than him. Warner is around $17 Million I think.

this ^
2 - 1sts.

1 - 2nd.

Deal him.

Guys he has huge injury potential the way we use him. Plus he's not happy here either.

If he gets a giant deal and gets hurt he will bust our cap.

Trading him isn't the worst thing ever. We can land Christian Watson and some other players too. On rookie deals.

And to be honest I wanted KD gone. I'm in the minority here but I have way more fun watching the team with Harrison Barnes than him. I didn't like just knowing we were going to win every game there was no suspense.

Lol imagine not wanting the best player in the league on your team because it was "too easy"🙄 and wanting to keep a highly paid average player who couldn't hit the damn ocean in the 16' finals

just saying his all his game checks won't reap the no state tax benefit, if that is his concern

No doubt and I think that debate of state taxes is overblown
