Trade him!

I love what Deebo did in 2021 but you do not pay for what a player did in the past ! You pay for future production. Give Deebo's $$$$ to Bosa. Get some real draft capital ( MUST BE MULTIPLE PICKS ). If you think back before 2021 you know you thought Brandon Aiyuk was the future 2020 season 60 catches/ 748 yards / 5 TD vs Deebo who had 33 catches / 391 yards / 1TD or 2019 Deebo 57 catches/ 802yards / 3 TD's. Sorry that just does not say $25 Million dollars a year period ! No Team wins a super bowl because of a WR not even Jerry Rice. Deebo is a gadget player, I remember reading mid season of 2021 that we have tried to sign Cordelle Patterson the last two times he has been a FA. Deebo is a creation of the offense and the fact that Kyle wanted a prototype for this role in the last few years proves it. This will be a true test of Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. Can Kyle keep his personal feelings out of the negotiation and will Lynch get the right trade package if we let him go. Go Sign Jarvis Landry and get some rookie talent in the room.

All will be ok, not sure that 2022 will be our year with a new ( pseudo rookie ) QB, I would NOT sign Deebo or give in to his tantrum. Do not get me wrong BIG fan of his 2021 season , seems like a great human being just doesnt warrant $25 Million and bunch of Guaranteed $$$$$ ........ See Dee Ford !

FO don't mess this up by waiting out like they did with Jimmy.
A lot of unverified twitter saying he was offered 4 years 100mil. Take that for what it is, but if true it def aint the money.

This off-season sucks

Well maybe all the Bad News comes early this year so we can get the Good News Later.... Hopefully...

Hope so.

The team will be competitive- hope IF Deebo leaves KS let's Trey air it out

I read that as "hair out," and started thinking of Trey's weird 1990s haircut with the randomly trimmed hairline.

LOL. They'll overvalue Deebo (except at the negotiating table) like they did Garoppolo and in the end, will just cut him for nothing.
Logical conclusion after the initiall shock- Unless we get blow away by an offer, he staying.

Who would give up too picks for a guy who wants to get paid top money, but not ball out like he did last year?

Why did diva have shoulder surgery so they can't trade him?

Dude is about to come tumbling back down to earth. If we send him to a situation where he does not thrive he could be ass out. The team we trade him to does not have to give him a new contract and if he does not have a good year he will have to sign for a lot less then we are offering. Dude just bet on himself. Good luck

if they don't trade him within the next 8 days, hes just gonna sit on his couch, I guess.
Deebo=Jimmy guy
Aiyuk=Trey guy
could this be the issue???
How many guys have been forced to play out their rookie contract after complaining about it, and THEN been tagged the next year, and NOT become a cancer in the locker room? He's gotta go, unless he starts his face-saving backpedal immediately...
Well. Not sure how I feel about this anymore.

I originally didn't think wideouts were as valuable as the contracts have been going just because of supply and demand factors. Seems like every year there are more and more high quality wide receivers coming up thru the draft.

Unfortunately, I feel Deebo is different and has the qualities of leadership that are important. Essentially this one hurts, but from a fiscal perspective I understand.

Still sucks

End this dumpster fire offseason already.

This is a mistake IMO. Holding a player hostage will become a big time distraction. You don't want players who don't want to be here.
