Just found it. averaged 8 yards before reception. Which is right near some of the other top names. Better than I anticipated to be honest.

Yeah when I looked up his average per reception I was like god damn that's way higher than I anticipated
If this was just about signing Deebo it would be a big enough problem but we all know it's more than that. If they give into his demands and pay him $30 million per year and a 4 or 5 year guaranteed contract, it sets the stage for Bosa. What do you think he's want? $35 million. $40 million. They can't tie up 25-30% of their cap money on two layers when one isn't even the QB. The Hill contract screwed up everyone's cap for the future. If teams are going to need to pay that much for WRs then they'll all have thun rosters with no depth. You can't win that way.
He imporved so much at the point of the catch. His concentration improved to the point of angry and fearless when catching the ball. Some guys make it look pretty, Deebo angry.

Give him his money. May look like overpaid, but in a year, it's gonna be decent and a bargain

I blame the Christian Kirk deal. Every receiver can just point to it and say I'm way better than that dude pay me
last year when Deebo wasn't making s#it everybody loved him. Now when he wants to get paid for putting his body on the line in a way no other receiver in the league does, people have a problem. Unbelievable. !!!!! Just pay the man and get this over with. All NFL players run the risk of being hurt. That doesn't stop the Rams from signing players at a dizzying rate. Last year they signed OBJ who has a long history of getting hurt. Only thing he did was help them get over the top and win a championship. If the niners are serious about winning a chip, sign the man. !!!!!!
I get this feeling like Deebo is gonna be traded for a boatload of draft picks. 🤔

and I will be sad

I'm calling Deebo to Philly for Raegor & pick #18 and maybe a day 3 pick.

Sprinkle in Watson getting $230M fully guaranteed and the players association pushing for more/all guaranteed contracts and there is a serious movement for players to get more guaranteed compensation.
They are going to f#ck this up
Deebo for a 1st, a decent WR and a good edge rusher.

Doubt it'll happen, but that's the only way I find it worth it.

Nah dude. Gotta send him to AFC and need to give more than that IF we ever decide to trade him. Fans will riot outside of Levi's if we don't resign him, not unless we got an offer we can't refuse.

He wants $$$ now because he is going to turn 27 this year and he is being used as a RB and has huge injury risk. We could always threaten to franchise him for a couple years in a row and eat up his prime that way, but I think we will figure out a way to get him "paid enough" because it is mutually beneficial. I disagree that just anyone can replace him - in that role, at least....I have never seen a WR run with that kind of toughness and vision out of the backfield, and I am 54. If we resigned Mostert it would've given us the opportunity to replace some of those big play carries Deebo routinely gets, but the guys we have now aren't built that way.
Yeah, he's one of a kind for a WR the way he's built and the toughness to play in the backfield. The closest comparables to Deebo are pass the catching/dual threat type running backs like Roger Craig, Faulk, Kamara, McCaffrey. I think Percy Harvin as the closest WR to Deebo with his short career. He was great when he came in and injuries piled up, then he was done if i remember correctly. I can see Elijah Mitchell doing some of those as they expand his duties moving forward and we need to find RB with those kind of skillsets.
