Ohh that's right the newly acquired living Legend Marcus Johnson right?
Players like Deebo are once in a lifetime players you don't dump your best player for a bunch of picks who probably won't even pan out or produce at a high level like Samuel.
You act like Deebo has missed a bunch of games like Ford. Everyone eventually gets hurt playing in the NFL. Doesn't mean he won't be durable through his career N continue to be productive for us. He's worth the gamble N every penny.
He's not once in a lifetime and it's not even close. So many receivers I'd take over deebo in a second in the last 30 years. Rice, Fitz, moss, Megatron, all were better at taking over games than deebo than deebo. Hell I'd rather have prime Julio also.
He's good but let's not say hes unstoppable like those guys.
Bosa is more valuable and it's not even close. Lose bosa and since we have no other edge rusher we probably give up 10-14 more points a game. Lose deebo and I guarantee the offense doesn't score 10-14 points less a game.
He's not worth what he's asking. If you can get good return on him I would trade him for picks. He's not going to be relevant in 2-3 years when his bodies broken from the beatings.
I remember posting that Deevah may be asking for $24 a year... how much he askin for now ??

Lmao @ once in a lifetime player. I guess the standard is pretty low in the WZ.

Deebo wants to be the highest paid non QB in the league. He wants north of $30 million + per year.
Forget it.
Trade him and recover some trade capital.

First of all your straightforward disregard for Deebo the human being is an issue. "He's not going to be relevant 2-3 years when his bodies broken from the beatings." Secondly Deebo not only took over games he took over whole parts of our season (most of it). You don't know what he's asking. Bosa can be signed along side of Deebo so that's a non-factor. And the fact that you're saying you would take some of the best receivers of all time over him does not improve your argument. We pay him market value and move on.

I'll play with this what if scenarios- If you're going to that, you need to get one of the highly rated WR in this class along with one of these vet. No way I would trade Deebo unless.. he's asking something outrageous and we get an offer we can't refuse. And I don't see that happening.

100% need to resign him. He fits perfect into Shanny's system and is essential for Trey in his first season starting. He will be running the ball less and will not have to break 10 tackles now that we have a QB that can actually throw the ball downfield (see Trey's bomb to him in Texans game and even the wide open pass to him against Seachickens).
Money is not an issue given that cap is going to keep going up dramatically over the next few years. Really need an elite WR to win super bowls (See Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp) especially with the rules favoring offenses (less holding calls and more pass interference calls). It's worth paying 25-30 million annually as long as you spread cap hit out with extensions, voidable years, etc. (stuff only AB understands on this forum).
Bosa can 100% be signed as well.
Hell we can even frontload Deebo/Bosa contract once we cut Jimmy after he passes the physical.

As much as it sucks but if he's asking for top money outside of qbs no choice but to trade him while the return is high.

This, it would be pure incompetence.
Based on form it would be par for the course then?
In essence this should be totally expected and a non issue for you as we

to this 10 man offense in one bundle?

If he really wants nothing but the biggest non QB contract in the league, take the best offer and trade him. No way I pay Samuel more than Bosa. Let´s be real for one second. That being said I think there´s a middle ground to find and ultimately that´ s what the Niners and Samuel should settle on. They need eachother a lot. Kyle Shanahan knows how to use a slant demon like Samuel and the Niners need Deebo to help Trey Lance. But for the Deebo is the best player on the team crowd, I would be worry right now. Kyle Shanahan is the kind of guy who would just take the best trade and draft the next great young receiver. Hell maybe, that´s the reason they seemed interested by Christian Watson. If this is a worst case scenario, I would just franchise Deebo next season. I still think they will find an agreement in the summer like they did with Fred Warner. You don´t trade someone like Deebo Samuel.

I hope we pay Deebo and I believe he is worth every penny he is asking for. He's the most versatile weapon in the NFL.
With that being said, I have my concerns about Deebo and his production as a receiver when we switch from Jimmy G to Lance. Imo, Jimmy was an excellent pairing with Deebo, and Kittle for that matter, because of how fast he got the ball out of his hand letting them get their YAC. Jimmy is also very good at throwing in between the numbers where Deebo and Kittle thrive.
Lance on the other hand I think is going to be extremely better at throwing outside the numbers. I don't think he will be as good throwing inside the numbers like Jimmy was, at least initially. I foresee Aiyuk really taking that next step forward with Lance since he is a more traditional, outside the numbers receiver. Hopefully I am wrong though about Deebo, I just think he is more successful inside the hashes then outside of them.

I agree with you. Trey Lance doesn´t have the same skillset than Jimmy at the moment. Aiyuk is probably the receiver that will benefit the more from the change of QB. I still think that Samuel is more versatile than we think and that he can win on the outside as much as Aiyuk.

I would take similar compensation received by teams who traded their top WR recently. Debo became too costly for future cap health of the team. We could get a lot since he thinks he deserve to get paid the most!

Dude it was constant banter back and forth about paying a TE top WR money. Do you not remember this? How much can we get for him….OMG he bought a house in Nashville and TEN needs a TE.
if the extent of Deebo being a "diva" is removing a couple pics, well fans are being divas just a much imo.

There. Are. No. WRs. Making. $30M.
For the love of god stop using that as a benchmark.
so we shouldn't pay Bosa & shouldn't have paid Trent/Kittle who have all missed a bunch of games all the same.
