Last year is the only year ever that Deebo played a full season. Of football out of 7 years. Incredible year. But is that worth the insane money he's asking?

There wasn't much drama around Kittle and Warner though. They didn't start deleting all things Niners, And unfollowing the team and stuff. I never had any doubt about Warner and Kittle being extended.

He's been injured and missed games in all of his 3 seasons so far. Y'all cry and whined about D.Ford missing games and you wanna give Deebo up to 30 plus M a year contract? Lol....Trade his diva ass, Aiyuk will be better with Trey Lance anyway.

Who cares if he's trying to get as much cash as he can. We watched SF spend nothing substantial in FA because they want to pay their own. We've seen teams across the league show that the cap is basically b******t. The freaking saints were like $80M in the red and now have the 6th most in cap space in the NFL ($20M)… they didn't cut a single person & signed a couple QBs along with others.

If ya'll are playing GM (and sounds like no one wants to pay him) why would another GM give up say a top 10 pick & or multiple 1sts and players PLUS pay him whatever made up APY ya'll think he's asking for?

I mean if we can make it work I'm all for paying Deebo as long as it doesn't mean we lose Bosa/other key players. I dunno if that's feasible or not, I'm no cap expert.

But IMO the Niners shouldn't just give in and give him a max contract out of desperation. The team holds the cards here, not Deebo. Love him, want him long term but he still has a bit more to prove.

You act like Deebo has missed a bunch of games like Ford. Everyone eventually gets hurt playing in the NFL. Doesn't mean he won't be durable through his career N continue to be productive for us. He's worth the gamble N every penny.

Of course we want him but it wasn't too long ago he showed up out of shape and not ready. And of course he was insane for a big chunk of the season just ended and yeah he helps save the offense when covering for crappy Jimmy BUT he has not done it long term and the 9ers rightfully so are being careful, the other big name WRs are on their third contract and have proven their worth year after year.

Love Deeb. Big time but in this situation I'm with the office. Let's negotiate. Your resume isn't deep enough to nearly be paid the highest non QB in the league.

It will work out. It just may take until deep in the summer. And the me first money first attitude is not a good look and not an attitude the 9ers dig. Bosa same situation. Quietly going about business behind the scenes. No social media drama.

I would trade Deebo Samuel to the Jets for Rd1Pk10 and Rd3Pk69 ----- in a heartbeat

then would sign Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones immediately...

draft either best OL or pass rusher or Gardner or preferably trade back

He's not once in a lifetime and it's not even close. So many receivers I'd take over deebo in a second in the last 30 years. Rice, Fitz, moss, Megatron, all were better at taking over games than deebo than deebo. Hell I'd rather have prime Julio also.

He's good but let's not say hes unstoppable like those guys.

Bosa is more valuable and it's not even close. Lose bosa and since we have no other edge rusher we probably give up 10-14 more points a game. Lose deebo and I guarantee the offense doesn't score 10-14 points less a game.

He's not worth what he's asking. If you can get good return on him I would trade him for picks. He's not going to be relevant in 2-3 years when his bodies broken from the beatings.
