Why is he acting like a baby?

Imagine working your ass off for years, leading the pathetic offense to the NFCC and then getting lowballed by a TV broadcaster pretending to be a GM with the owner's spoiled son and his drinking buddy Paarag.

Who said he got low balled?

I'm guessing based on our team history and that no deal has been made. He could be getting greedy. Never know. But with this FO, I'm willing to bet they gave his a s**tty offer filled with incentives.

Apparently the Jets did offer the #10 pick for DK and DK is going to want Adams and Hill type money, And he is not as good as Deebo.

That was false and has been reported as such.

I thought they weren't going to make an offer until next year?

I didn't think Watson was worth $230m fully gtd and three ones either. Especially with the cloud hanging over him.

Watson is a top 5ish QB who's got film of being that for a couple years....he's young and QBs can play much longer than WRs. Deebo is already 27. There really isn't a comparison there imo. Two totally different positions. One is the most important position in sports the other isn't.

I also think the browns are slimy with how they did that deal and at most they will deal with a PR hit (for a yr or so) and a possible suspension. At this pt Watson isn't going to jail or anything. It's a civil case.

Point is clubs will give up shocking compensation for elite players especially these sad sack teams. Some jaws dropped seeing Watson's trade comp and contract, Hill's trade comp and contract, same would apply to Deebo imo.
My fan perspective thinks the negotiation should settle somewhere near Digg's and DK Metcalf's yet to be announced contract.

Trade this diva. He'll break down in a year anyway

The difference between Hill and Deebo is speed but they are both about the same when it comes to production. Still allocating 14-15% of your total cap to one WR doesn't make sense. That's a lot even for the QB. We know Bosa is going to get big money but he will be involved in a higher percentage of their plays than Deebo. I'm saying this as a huge Deebo fan but concentrating too much money on 4 or 5 players ultimately will hurt the team. Between Bosa, Deebo, Kittle and Williams they could end uo with 40% or more of the entire cap.

No different then a lot of teams...including the Rams who everyone gets all pissed about when they sign someone.

Yeah as far as WRs go...fans need to actually look at contracts and stop looking at the "total value" and dividing by the amount of years and saying that's how much they get paid every yr lol.

Hill has a $50M cap hit in the last yr of his deal which he will never see. There's no GTD cash, it's a void yr just made to pump up his APY and the "total amount". Adams last two yrs have a cap hit of $40M each year, but he doesn't have any GTD cash left. He will never see that either. fake news lol.

Can we trade you jk
Why do people keep bringing up Deebo "coming into camp out of shape" in 2020 without mentioning the fact that he broke his foot in the offseason 2 months before training camp? Some fans are trying to imply that Deebo came into camp out of shape as if he was out partying or eating cheetos on his couch.

Compare apples to apples though...the Jets didn't even offer a 1st rd pick for Hill. The packers got a late 1st and a late 2nd for Adams.

Who's jaw dropped over what Watson got traded for? That was reported for like a yr. 3 1sts and more was the cost. As soon as it wasn't a criminal matter all bets were off...The contract was eye opening, but it's a QB not a WR. You will see more FGTD contracts for QBs in the future IMO.

What's eye opening about Hill's contract or what KC got? It's full of fake money. His last yr has a cap hit of $50M that voids in the new league yr...it wasn't real lol. He has one yr of having a cap hit of $30M the other two meaningful yr (where he has real FGTD $) are $6.5M and $24M. He was traded for the 29th pick (our pick) and a late 2nd basically.

People gotta understand the difference between "total GTD cash" and what that actually mean and "FTGD" which IS what matters.

They get all butthurt when a player doesn't toe the company line. Deebo is a leader and busted his ass for this team...he was damn near the reason they made it as far as they did last yr.

I remember seeing him out there on one leg vs the Packers moving the ball downfield to win. Pay the dude.

Lets be real. Dude has been injured most of his career. Even the one year he was great he has injuries. He's awesome when healthy, key word, healthy. He wants the bag? Prove it one more year, then the bag will be even bigger next year and we can pay him. We gotta stop paying people early, that's how we got into this Jimmy situation. Paying him when we didn't need to. This FO needs to learn from their mistakes, it's business, not personal.
