Absolutely not, Warner is going to outlast Deebo.
WR/RB combos are easy to find coming out of college and Kyle is excellent at drafting eligible receivers.

Except Warner has been extremely underwhelming ever since he got the bag

Poor interior D-line play has more to do with that. If Kinlaw becomes a stud then Warner will be back to superstar.
Congrats to Deebo

Uh, no, you don't get rid of your studs, you get rid of the mid tier guys and replace them with guys on rookie contracts.

Once Jimmy and Dee Ford's cash is off the books we'll be a lot more flexible.

We need to sign Deebo before AJ Brown and DK Metcalf, the three of them will leapfrog each other.

This is the way. Keep the stars, replace the complimentary players. Add in the underperforming guys if someone will trade for them.

Deebo among 5 49ers selected to the Pro Bowl, good for him, he deserves it.

damn, that means his price tag went up alittle

Nah RBs are cheaper than WRs

If he keeps rushing for TD's niners gonna franchise tag him as a RB lol. RB tag cost is a joke compared to WR.

They can't unless he plays more snaps at RB than WR, which isn't happening, plus he won't get tagged IMO, the 49ers have done the right thing with recent picks like Kittle & Warner, extend them before their last yr of their deal is up.

I can't believe this is even a discussion. Sometimes I wonder if some of the Zone even footballs.

I suspect we will be extending Deebo this offseason. I agree with you they did the right thing with Warner and Kittle. I can't wait until your breakdown of what options the team can do to keep the important people, shed the dead weight, as well as what hard pills we will have to swallow in terms of contracts. It's crazy how for so long we had tons of cap space and it got eaten up quickly. A lot of that was centered around we didn't have anyone that was worth extending/giving a big contract to. Now we have multiple players that are at or near the top of the class at their position.

It's similar to how people will say trade so & so, yet don't have a clue how that may effect the salary cap, cause they don't do research.

This is the way to build a roster, keep your stud players(Juice, Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Trent, Bosa & Warner) on big money deals, add in cheap vets on 1 or 2-3 yr deals(Sherfield, Key, K'Waun types), and draft well in the mid-late rounds(Dre, Jones, Woerner, Jennings, Hufanga, Moore, Mitchell, Lenoir, Ambry), and also hit on UDFAs(Wilson, Hasty, Givens, Moseley & Al-Shaair types), while also adding guys via trades for pennies(Laken, Omenihu).
I'm playing fantasy finals against Deebo with a $500 prize winnings, but I want him to go off for 400 yards 5 tds and we blow the texans out of here.

There fans aren't loyal.

And about drafting receivers, definitely more hits than misses now than before. I can easily see some person bringing up Pettis and Hurd.

Hurd was an injury issue. No indication that he wasn't the player we envisioned when healthy.

Pettis was just a crappy blocker and didn't deal well with physicality. When CBs played off in his rookie year he led the league in yards of separation. I have a feeling he's going to have a Brandon Lloyd-like career.
Chiefs are able to keep all their elite players, So why can't we?

We don't need to lose anybody. The Cap is going to sky rocket in 2023 and we have our franchise QB on a rookie deal for the next 3 years. This team should be loading up next year and build the best team possible around Trey.

This would make more sense if a Rookie LB wasn't out there out playing him for large parts of the game behind the same line. I believe Warner will bounce back but there is no excuse for his play this season.

Warner even said earlier this year that he wasn't playing to his standards and needs to step up. So there is that too.

What rookie linebacker? I do think Warner will bounce back as well. Otherwise, Greenlaw and Azeez are ready and waiting.

You are 100% correct. For some reason I was smoking crack and thought Azeez was a rookie... Not sure why. Bedsides me being completely wrong I totally agree Warner will be back and better than ever next season (or maybe even the playoffs?).

You're right many teams are Able to keep their best players all we have to do is lock them on to longer-term contracts and be able to restructure them as well.

Id actually argue the Chiefs had less key players than we do. But they have two guys that are exceptional (Hill and Mahommes), with Mahommes being exceptional at the most important position.

And Kelce. Hes a very important cog in that offense.
