I hope we don't over-use him at RB.

He's a special talent we can benefit from for years to come.

Tell our RBs to stay healthy lol.

Hes not an Arby.

He's an offensive weapon just like Juszczyk. At least his name is a lot easier to spell than Juices name.

I wish he could be paid like Juice though. That would only cost us about 7 million. Which aint happening if we want to keep him.

You must have inadverdently walked into the Jimmy thread.

But i do agree with you that there is a mental component to injuries. The guys like Steve, Joe, and Jerry seem to stay relatively healthy while others seem to always be rehabbing. There's a certain toughness that goes with being a hall of fame player. John Lynch is an example of a tough guy who didnt have a lot of injuries in the latter half of his career.
How is Shanny cutting Deebo's career short? He ain't some workhorse, 25 carry up the gut RB. He gets his 6 or 7 run plays - a lot of them outside away from the scrum - and if that's his RB workload, he's only getting 3 or 4 passes. If his career ends by age 30, his body simply wasn't cut out for it, regardless.

Have you forgotten about Mostert already? Even our 10-carry-to-the-outside RB's can't stay healthy.
I'm still surprised at how fast Deebo is in pads. I know he's an NFL WR, but I underestimated his speed.

He's pretty much the guy I described - a guy who is simply not meant to last the rigors of the NFL. Besides, Deebo wouldn't be getting 7+/- carries per game if the 79 running backs that SF has gone through this year didn't get injured.
Deebo will have a game where he catches, runs and passes for a TD
An NFL style Gordie Howe hat trick

I'm old enough to remember when people on here b***hed we drafted Deebo over AJ Brown and DK Metcalf.

That s**t looks laughable now!!
